Such a great guy, much respect to him. Wasn't an easy season for him, had lost his starting spot and he really struggled with that, so for him to finish the season like that is pretty amazing. With that in mind it was a good time to retire. He's going to take coaching and managing courses to eventually become Feyenoord's next technical director. They're building a new trainingground and 63k seat stadium, so plenty to look forward to.
