      I love Spectrum! :D

For those interested in reliving their wasted youth ;) you can download a Spectrum emulator, allowing you to play the games on your PC. A wide range are available form here:

      http://www.worldofspectrum.org/

Click on the link "emulators", and choose one for Windows, your best bet would be one supporting the TZX file format.

After that, choose the link "Archive", and you will find a comprehensive list of (I think) every game to have ever been released on the Speccy! Even lists the people who made the game, release date, original sale price!  :o HUYTON RED - original sale price of Daley Thompson's Decathlon was £2.99! :D Those were the days!

There are even often magazine reviews, I always got Crash or Sinclair User I think! :D

Download at will and have fun!

I use this one.  It's a widget on the Mac and it comes with loads of games and then you can easily add more in.

Sits in that widgetty page thing

hey ayrton, ive still got loads of crash mags, think they may be worth something one day for my kids. my computer magazine is my oldest i think from 1980 its probably older than most people on this board, i used to love lunar lander and going into computer world on lime street, we were the original computer enthusiasts, did you ever try to put them little programs in outta the mags, and little games worked, it was a good way of understanding programming, im trying to get into java atm........speccy rules and was sooooooo much better than the c64 brick

Yeah! One typing error and nothing worked! :D

I think I had quite a few that did animations, like hundreds of spiders falling down the screen or running around! Took ages but was worth it (when it worked! ;)).
