As much as I don't like Voronin I feel sorry for the guy who has been doing well in pre-season and Rafa sticks him out to the wing where he looks like a fish out of water.

Not a bad game, but all the changes spoilt it a little for me. A 1st 11 would have had the beating of them IMO

i no it wasnt really the match i expected it was queit boring but atleast we hav an idea ofwot our new singings are like

i missed the whole game but it does'nt sound like i have missed much. how did keane play?

Keane did ok had one good chance and perhaps should have taken ,but first game and all that so i will leave him off with that one looked busy and seems to be in quite good nick so shouldnt need much work to get up to speed.

Not a bad game. Feel very sorry for pacheco, so close to scoring. Did a great little stop start move to beat his man but the finish was just lacking. Fantastic shot from spearing at the end, what a goal that would have been, Excellently picked out by Xabi. Darby saved us with a great block but cavalieri was excellent tonight stopped pretty much everything and everything he missed the defenders had covered.

N'Gog and Keane also close but unlucky, love the way Keane made the defenders fall with a drop of the shoulder. Was impressed with pretty much everyone tonight, wish Nemeth got longer on the field, maybe he will in one of the remaining games of pre season. Think we played well tonight, especially the passing in the first half, quick one touch passing was good to see and I hope we do it throughout the season, it gave us some fantastic possesion. So great to see the spanish players back too,Torres looked sharp as did Allonso took on players well and tackled well, Good save from Reina from the free kick.

Now I just cant wait for our next game haha.

Keane linked well with Voronin and Gerrard,looked very comfortable,was telling players where he wanted the ball played andwhere he wanted to track back when we weren't in control of possesion.I was impressed considering its his debut and his first pre season game.
