If you could meet one Liverpool player....

Saw this on another forum and thought it would be good to hear your dreams/experiences 

I couldn't pick just one player, but for me it would have to be Kenny Dalglish, followed by Jamie Carragher, Stevie G and Nando.

I'd also like to sit and have a nice chat with Rafa     

I was going to say Rafa but a player... going to say Sami. He just seems like a top man.

It's a difficult one, because I'd love to meet Torres now yet I'd want to have a chin-wag and a cuppa with Dalglish and talk about all the European exploits and the leagues in the 70's and 80's! I'll save Torres for when we've got a few more leagues and European Cups under our belt! Plus he'd have to get used to the Scouse language a bit more before he met me!

I'd love to meet Stevie G or Fernando.

See who they think Rafa should bring in that would set this team apart from the others.

Find out which players they think in the current squad aren't worthy of the Liverpool shirt.

Finally to find out if they really are in love with each other and how jealous Dirk is about their newly formed relationship

I'd love to have met Bob Paisley........and to have spent a long summer talking to him and writing a biography on the great man.......great to have glimpsed his famous little book that he kept.

as for a player.....hard one.......great to meet Kenny (but might not be a lot of interaction, because he seems so guarded and quite abrasive).

Keegan perhaps.  Alan Kennedy (he's so down to earth and would be easy to talk to, I imagine).

I'd love to shake Ray Kennedy's hand, give him a friendly hug, and tell him how much we all loved him.

First of all 1.Jamie Carragher 'cos he is like a master. Then 2.gerrard & then 3.Reina!

In order mine would be

Steven Gerrard, i've grown up watching his career progress, best i've ever seen play the game.

Fernando Torres, Seems such a genuine and humble person love to meet the best striker on the planet.

In terms of ex players

John Barnes, was such a great player and he always seems happy, would love to chat to him.

Luis Garcia, stilll wishing he never left, gave us so many great memories and would love to talk to him about that goal vs. Juve.

and lastly just for a laugh cissé, i think he gets too much stick he's very passionate about liverpool it would be like meeting another liverpool fan but a famous one haha.

a few others aswell like king kenny, hamman, hyypia, babel, nemeth.

I've met three of the five you mention... Rafa, Nando and King Kenny ...all class in their own way!

The one guy I would have loved to have met was Emlyn Hughes ...and Shanks and Paisely too (RIP Redmen).

Steve McManaman, he was my favorite Liverpool players when I was young.

I met Robbie & Macca on the train back from London last year, top guys good to chat to and had a laugh! I would love to meet Gerrard and Torres though!!

Well I have to say I've been extremely lucky to have met lots of Liverpool players in the past.

Couldn't possibly name them all, as there's too many but I had a lovely long chat once with Ian Rush at Melwood, and had a drink with him in the Holiday Inn in Liverpool.

Met Kevin Keegan several times, a really nice bloke who always had time for the kids.

Jimmy Case, who gave me a lift once in his car 

Met Emlyn, Phil Neal, Phil Thompson, Ray Kennedy, Sammy Lee. Bruce Grobbelaar, Alan Hansen, Graeme Souness, Kenny Dalglish and a load of others.

The only recent player I met was Pepe Reina.

i used to work at anfield ...doing the discos, worked at some after dinner speaches and got to meet barney rubble....a kennedy, now there was a legend and such a nice feller, talked to him for a bit.....i was very happy and got paid for it, i also saw one of tommy smiths after dinner speaches fantastic....

personally i would like to meet ....dalglish and rush maybe stevie g...but he is a mate of one of my mates and this may happen someday

There are so many I'd wanna meet but for now if I could only pick one it would have to be Fernando Torres.  I would have chosen Stevie G but he always seems a bit grumpy to me so Nando edges it for me.  Still wanna meet Stevie though
