Euro 08 player of the tournament?

I thought it was Xavi, Arshavin, Altintop in and Modric in my opinion. I deeply regret us not offering 17 mill for Modric he is one player that we could have seen and benefited from in a red shirt. Did himself a huge favour this Euro by stepping up on the big stage when called upon. Arshavin was also great in my opinion always dangerous when he has the ball and does incredibly well to creare space for himself. Altintop was also superb great in his defensive duties and dangerous when moving forward, I could not figure where he actually played as at beggining of matches he was listed as a left back but would often drift in to the heart of the midfield. Xavi was just superb the entire tournament he worked so well with Senna and Iniesta deserves the honour IMO.

Shweinstigger that German i thought played real good, then Torres has to be the man of the hour at least with out his goal it probably would have gone to penalties and those Germans would have won they don't lose too many penalty shoot outs.

Shweinstigger had an awesome tournament,he created plenty of chances for the germans but i felt that when it came down to the final he underachieved.So ill have to go with Senna he was so solid throughout every game,he was definately the missing link for the spaniards.

yeah a lot of the Germans had a bad final i don't think i saw podolski get the ball he also played well in the tourney but the Spaniards were all over them and deserved the win senna was excellent through out and fabregas too.

I think Xavi was spot on. It was always going to be a choice from the Spain squad and Xavi was in the middle of everything so fair play to him!

 It was good to see Ronaldo did not make the 23 top performers at the Euro Championships.That should help to flatten his ego a little bit and hopefully make him a little less arrogant.

I doubt it very much Billy  : He's one of those sorts of people who just get right in your face, I'd love to give him a really good slap 

Obviously one of the Spanish team, hard to choose really.
I'd probably have to go with Senna too.
But I also think that Silva had a good tournament.

I thought Sergio Ramos was excellent. His distribution from the the right was top class. I would have to agree with most people here that Senna would be player of the tournment. Endless running. He deserved a goal from that good chance he had in the final.
