Liverpool Football Club would like to announce the following selling arrangements for our pre-season friendly game against Lazio at Anfield (08/08/08) 
PRE – SEASON FRIENDLY

To be played at Anfield
On Friday 8 August 2008, kick off 8.00pm
 
The entire stadium will be ticketed and the following prices will apply:-
 
Main Stand, Centenary Stand, Anfield Road, Kop Grandstand
and Paddock Enclosure £17.00
 
Over 65’s £12.00
 
Anfield Road one adult/child combined £25.00
 
Wheelchair Space and Visually Impaired £12.00
 
Personal Assistant Free
 
Selling Arrangements for Season Ticket Holder and Members/Fan Card Holders.
 
The above tickets will be available to purchase by personal application at the Ticket Office, by postal application, on the Credit Card booking line, telephone 0844 844 0844 (Overseas (0044) 870 220 2151) and online at www.liverpoolfc.tv/tickets.
 
Personal Application
 
Members/Fan Card Holders must present their Fan Card and Season Ticket Holders must confirm their details.
 
Please Note supporters can purchase one ticket per Fan Card up to a maximum of six Fan Cards at the Ticket Office window and four Fan Cards on the credit card booking line. Supporters wishing to purchase a greater number of tickets need to apply by post.
 
Postal Application
 
Postal applications from Season Ticket Holders and Members/Fan Card Holders should include the correct remittance and stamped addressed envelope. Members/ Fan Card Holders must quote their Fan Card number. Postal applications should be received by Friday 18 July 2008.

Online Bookings
 
Tickets may be booked online by quoting the Fan Card number and unique password. There will be a transaction charge of £2.50 per ticket.
 
Telephone Bookings
 
Tickets will be available on 0844 844 0844 (Overseas (0044) 870 220 2151) and will be subject to a 50p per ticket booking fee. Fan Card numbers must be quoted and supporters will be asked to confirm the address of each applicant.
 
Tickets will be available as follows;
 
Season Ticket Holders from Thursday 17 July 2008
 
Members/Fan Card Holders from Tuesday 22 July 2008
 
A further selling announcement will be made should there be any tickets remaining after these sales.
 
We would emphasise to all eligible applicants that no guarantee can be given that tickets will be available to all who apply.
 
All the above sales are subject to availability and while stocks last.

That is bad Venison, so there giving Season Tickets holders 5 days to get their tickets for this game before they put them out to Members/Fan card holders  ridiculous and not very fair.
The whole ticket situation needs a complete overhaul, I know this has been an ongoing problem for a long time now and it seriously needs sorting.
Surely the tickets could go on sale on the Monday.
 I'd have thought that if any season tickets holders wanted to go to this game they would be getting them on the Thursday/Friday, not leaving it till the Monday  :

Any of the pubs by the ground are full Chris, if any of the gang off here are meeting up we usually meet in the Sandon, 2 seconds away from the ground.     But get there early cos redkenny or Tommo normally drink the place dry pretty early !!

I would imagine Rafa will play the Spanish guys at some stage of the game, maybe first half or something.

To be honest with you Chris, I'm amazed there are still tickets available for this game (or there was the other day, not sure if there still is?) as normally any game at Anfield is usually a sell out, I can only imagine there are a lot of people on holiday, I would be going myself If I wasn't away !!

Also the fact that this is the first friendly there's been at Anfield for a few years now.

Or it could just be that people can't afford to go and are waiting till the League starts, I'm afraid it won't be at all easy to get tickets for the Premiership games especially the big games at Anfield, they sell out faster than you can say Lazio 

Well thats the problem would love to go more but the tickets are like gold dust my cousin brought another 2 tickets still not sold out it really is surprising! But hey I cannot wait now will be the best !! i will defo be trying for some more tickets VS Middlesbrough at home the first one, fingers crossed i get them! i will fly up every week if i have to

I think Programmes are about £3.50, they were the last time I bought one Chris.  Your probably best getting something to eat outside the ground, plenty of pubs and chippies !!  The grub in the ground is crap and a rip off !!

I've just ordered my tickets today (31/7) Got on the Kop on block 305. I've got to leave straight from work at 5pm to get there. 2hours drive. Should be worth it tho.

Also i no you cant park at or around the stadium. So can anyone advise me where to park whether its in the center of liverpool or anywhere else. Normally i just get the train then the soccer bus as i have family in the wirral but with all the timings that ive got i wont get chance to do that this time. So can any one help me please

If you're getting here for about 7ish, you should be able to get a parking spec down Utting Avenue mate. Be aware though, Arkles Lane is closed while they dig the ground up. If there is no joy getting in one of the car parks down Utting Avenue, Pinehurst Avenue sometimes has some specs to park. Failing that, just go further down Utting Avenue and there's an Asda car park.

Cleverly I bought 4 main stand tickets yesterday @ £17 each hoping 3 of my mates would be able to get friday afternoon off like i did and go to the game....

so far i'm the only one able to go!!!!

So...i'f your thinking of going and havent yet bought a ticket...buy one from me first at face value!! 

AND even better if you live somewhere between warwick and liverpool i might even pick you up in return for some petrol money...provided its not too far out the way!!

The plan is to drive to aintree station as you can get free parking there, and get the train into kirkdale and walk the 15min to anfield...its a bit of a walk but it means you clear some of the traffic on the way home!! Unless any more seasoned supporters have any better suggestions that doesnt involve leaving my car where it'll get nicked! 

Is the soccer bus running on friday?

just contacted the box office, they will not take the tickets back! 

So i either find people that can come with me...but thats probably a lost cause now as ive already asked all my mates, including a few neutrals...AND that includes a couple that are utd supporters! 

If anyone on here is going but hasnt purchased a ticket yet it looks like I have 3 tickets going spare, Main stand ME23 0221, 22, 23, can meet you somewhere before KO and you can have them for a tenner each!At least i make some of my money back then! :
