This lad looked quality against Rangers. Really ran them ragged. Hopefully he continues to do that throughout the seasonlol.

Another good run out from the young player. Has good movement and shows good presence in the box and showed a finishing touch. Hope he can continue this trend when he gets into the serious games.

Please everyone lets give this kid time to settle and play his game before we start building him up as the new Anelka or Henry or whoever or saying hes going to take the league by storm. If he does great. We seem a little obsessed with saying our young lads are going to do this that and the other. Look at Le Tallec and Pongolle. Signed as the 2 most wanted under 18s in world football Houllier bigged them up but we got little back from them.

Lets just enjoy what he offers and hope he fulfills his potential

He scored a lovely goal last night. i hope he can keep it up in the season. Rafa did say he would be ready to go straight into the first team. Which, if true, means rafa believes him to be a very good, and very able player

Yeah he will be like Babel last season, largely used coming from the bench or starting and coming off at half time.

Here's hoping, maybe even more. If he keeps going the way he is he could have 40 goals ::)

I wont make a prediciont but i hope he continues this form and grows into a better player. He has layed himself the platform to improve and its up to him to do so. He has the best support around him and the best mentors in Robbie (Keane that is) and Nando along with Babel who is a brilliant finisher to get to the big stage.

Good luck David, make us proud laddy!

      David N'Gog on the wing?
The usual debate about our lack of width rumbles on and will continue to do so until we get it sorted I suppose! But do we have a short term answer under our nose in David N'Gog? He is blessed with pace and looks like he has the ability to take people on. He clearly wont get much football as a striker with Torres and Keane up there so why not give him a go on the wing. A new Ray Kennedy perhaps??

People will say hes too young and not ready but my answer to that would be how does he get ready if he doesnt get chances? A lot of player down the years were classed as a winger or striker but made it big in another position maybe N'Gog can be another

I was listening to a podcast where someone asked a French football expert about N'gog and he said that he use to play on the right side or the "Dirk Kuyt" role in a 4-3-3 so he has experience playing in those wide position.

I dont see why he wouldnt be given a chance especially since Yossi seems to be suffering from the Voronin flu of being great in pre season only

It's definitely worth a try. Maybe in the Carling cup 3rd round though? It unbelievably important to qualify for the CL and continue our good start to the season.

I'd like to see some of these players involved a bit more.  Babel, N'Gog and El Zhar are all dangerous because they are less predictable than most of our other players.

No reason why they can't all play some part next to the sterility of Benayoun and Kuyt when they are on the wings.

I think he can play on the left wing because he is quick and can beat players.Raffa can try this.

he likes moving towards the left flank but not a natural left winger same applies to babel a forward but not a center forward.
