What a brilliant signing.Cant wait to see  him in a red shirt.Last season Liverpool scored 67 pl goals,13 behind the mancs,Robbies addition will bridge that gap,and the return of Agger we'll be tighter at the back,hence we'll be more competetive this season.

Its so frustrating and disappointing to read comments of so-called Liverpool fans on bbc's 606 running Keane down before he even kicks a ball for us.  Its understandable to read crap like this from the scum or Chelski fans but some liverpool fans do my head in too.  I dunno why I even read the articles over there, its like an addiction.  Its great to be amongst such great real fans here.

But anyway, I am delighted with this signing and have been a big fan of his for years.  I was beginning to think that we had finished with the transfer market but chuffed to bits with Robbie coming to Anfield 

Very excited and I wish him all the best.  I'm sure he'll be a big player for us.

Well every one seems made up that we've got Robbie Keane. I know he's a different style of player but give Crouchie the same starts Keano will get and he'd score as many goals. We would then have 20 mill in the bank. Add to that, David Villa is now looking like he may go to Spurs. What a merry go round, I'm begining to think this all political. Sitting on the fence with Robbie. I know he'll get us goals but will he compliment Nando ? Remains to be seen, I just hope so.

Absolutely delighted with this transfer. Keane is a player I've admired for a long time but never really thought we would go for him for some reason.

Don't have to worry about that now, just can't wait to see him pull on the red shirt for the first time!

I loved Crouchie, But Keano is in a different league,   very clever player....rarely disappoints from an entertainment point of view.  Welcome Robbie.

Hopefully he'll get the number 7 shirt as finally after such a long wait we'll have someone with the quality to shoulder the burden of it and actually deliver the goods. Great signing. Bodes well for a more attack minded formation for next season. IRWT

Levy quoted saying it was 19million plus 1.3million for extra fees. Dunno whether that includes our ahem 'donation' to the Tottenham charity.

I think he will be given the number 10 because I cant ee voronin staying much longer now he has arrived as well as n'gog, he is guarenteed only a little time on the pitch next season so hopefully keane will be given the 10 as I want to see silva in the number 7 I doubt it will be number 11 as that is benayoun's number.

Great capture and I think it is a good price when you take into account the fact he is a proven goal scorer in the prem and has great work rate and gets bags of assits too. Torres 40+goals next season and keane to hit the 30+ mark

(i dont think gerrard will let him have penalty duty though )

I've never had a problem with players called Robbie up front for Liverpool!... let's hope this one can score as many, and as often, as the last chap.

I think Robbie Keane will be a good signing for us and I expect to see him putting away  a few loose balls in  the penalty area .If he had played for us this last season we would of given Manure a run for their money.It will be interesting to see RAFAS line up for the 1st league match at Sunderland.

It's actually quite good we have signed him now as he has scored quite a few blinders against us these last few seasons
