The parents were going through a divorce, and were fighting over custody of the child, when the judge ordered that she be taken into care, and have her name changed.
This isn't the first case in New Zealand - the following names were also blocked -
Yeah Detroit, Stallion, Twisty Poi, Keenan Got Lucy, Sex Fruit, Fat Boy, Cinderella Beauty Blossom, Fish and Chips (twins)
However, these were allowed -
Violence, Number 16 Bus Shelter, Midnight Chardonnay, Benson and Hedges (twins)
