What languages would you love to know?

Got this wierd idea in my shower about 10 minutes ago that i would love to know Spanish. Dont ask why but it just popped in my head and thought its thread worthy.

So, what language/s would you love to be fluent in?

As said i would love to know Spanish but also Arabic, wicked language i reckon.

Chinese or Russian would be a couple of handy languages to have if you fancied yourself as a bit of a James Bond.

Im pretty good at spanish thanks to gcse. but id love to be able to speak irish fluently, i no some but id like to learn all of it. Why, becasue no one would no what im saying to them in any country

I'd love to have learned French at school, as little did I know I'd end up living here one day! Instead, my crappy secondary school put all the people who's surnames started from A-M learning German, and the others learned French.  : Obviously I speak French quite well now, but have only learned through listening to people around me talk, watching telly, listening to the radio and so on, which means I almost can't write it at all, and my grammar is bloody awful!  :

Close, I think you meant "putain", no? Which is obviously a whore, but can also be used when you're generally pissed off about something or have hurt yourself.

Yeah, it's just like saying "oh F**k" or something, though French people aren't really as offended by swear words as English. A good example is I was watching some Olympic swimming, and the French swimmer Laure Manadou was doing crap, and the commentator started shouting "Allez, putain!" at her! It was rather funny!

The commentators are just as bad over here as in England, worse sometimes. They talk crap, sometimes they'll just start having a conversation that has nothing to do with the game, just chatting between themselves.   : There's one who does the footy who has a laugh that sounds like a goat as well.

On the upside we do sometimes have Arsene Wenger though!

you should hear some of the gaelic football matches in ireland, they are sometimes braodcast in irish so they are, i swear some of the words are made up on the spot

well im moving to france soon so I spose that would be good to know

I know Scouse, Spanish and English.

I'd love to learn Chinese though. It'd be really hard but so worth it.

text language, might be able to make heads off what people are sayin to me on the phone.

Also proper English, seriously, when I hear people bang on about certain things like sandwiches for brunch. I don't even know what time you have brunch. So proper English and those who know it should try learnin everyday scouse because half the words we use people from outside the city haven't a clue on.

Japanese, seeing how I'm studying it at school and would love to go to Japan.
Chinese(Mandarin) because its massive for job opportunities, like japanese is.
Spanish because its cool.

I want to get my scouse accent back too, I lost it when I moved to Oz.

Japanese and Chinese are massive bonuses on job opportunites in Oz, so I'd love to know them.

I know slight arabic, its not very good though. That's the only language I'm interested in learning right now, all the others are pretty much useless to me.

Portuguese - Don't want to live in Brazil or Portugal
Spanish - Don't want to live in Spain or South America
French - Hmm doesn't sound too nice but it's a very handy language to learn
Arabic - Would love to live somewhere like Dubai or Tunisia, and the language is a nice one!

Would love to live in Dubai. Such a great spot, me dad got me a gold chain from there in his stop over to America, 21 carrat's for just a few hundred bucks! I know its just a chain but its special to me for personal reasons.

It had some of the best site's too, that indoor ski resort in the middle of the desert, that building on the ocean. Just amazing. Plus, their all f- - - - ng rich!

Well i already speak English,Swedish and Hungarian, and i am now learning som finnish from my girlfriend, but i really want to learn Japanese (like there shows ,like when they are in school and they can not laugh if they do they get spankt:D) then German sounds cool to RAUS BITTE! ACTHUNG!, and Russian if i can russian i can understand most easter europians and some latin language.
