International - England v Czech Rep.
      Aug 20, 2008 11:37:50 am
Anyone care what this lot will produce tonight?

I think GB team at the Olympics is a great example of what hunger to win things for your country, means.

I haven't seen this in an England team since Euro '96.

      20.00 tonight at Wembley Stadium.

What would your England team be?

I think Gerrard is the only LFC player in England squad now.

I want a new England vision but it looks like the same tired one going forward to the World Cup qualifiers.

I dont care what line up is played tonight because i wont be watching it, i dont see the point in these pointless friendlies. it wont have any impact on any of the qualifiers because its ages before they will even play together again so it makes no difference. All i know is that the manager needs to go because Terry has been chosen as captain and he failed to guide the team to the Euro's and Rio is vice captain (a player that has been banned for 8 months, not even captain for his team and kicked a steward at the end of last season). Everyone knows it should be Stevie who is captain, especially seeing as he seems to get the most stick out of the players.

      Brown------Terry------Rio----------A.Cole

      Bentley----Barry-----Gerrard------J.Cole

My Sinatra sports has just frozen due to the rain, well either that or they are focussing on Rio warming up!
I might have to go and watch beach volleyball instead.

I never wish injury on any player.  But if Gareth Barry breaks his leg in 10 places Martin O'Neill might give us a fiver off.

Great goal from the Czechs there. Great build-up play, passing around the English midfield and defence. Baros scores, with a little help from Ashley Cole.

Literally forgot there was an England game on tonight.  Been busy driving all over the show today.

Gerrard get subbed for tactical reasons then?

Oh yeah, and what was the score?

I doubt it, maybe some of the managers of the clubs said they don't want players playing full 90 minutes because you saw Rio get subbed off too quite early and if Capello was serious of winning, he wouldn't of done either. Gerrard was one of the better players out there, at least he tried to make something happen.

I still can't believe Beckham gets picked, he offer nothing to open play, he can't run with the ball, he loves going inside and it seems he become the hoff ball man of the side. The problem is that most of the goals come from him and his dead ball situations so managers wil put up with 80 minutes of trash to have him pop up with setting up a goal.

I don't know mate, I didn't see the game. Was hoping that Gerrard didn't get subbed for an injury.
