Give Dudek a chance

After Reina's clanger against West Ham and his poor concentration today I think at this level of professional football then Jerzy must at least be given another chance.

Reina shouldn't feel he has an automatic right to the keeper jersey.

He has performed mediocre in the last two games.

Mediocrity should not be rewarded.

I hope that Rafa has the ruthlessness to drop his Spanish compatriot for the next game.

I think it will send out the right signal to all the rest of the players.  In fact I think Alonso also should be dropped.

My changes for Eindhoven.

Speedy back in for Garcia.

Gerrard back in centre for Alonso,

And Pennant in on the right wing.

Agger in for Hyypia.

Bellamy and Kuyt for Crouch and Robbie.

spot on koolkidda.........i think its only fair jerzy be given a crack at the goalkeeping slot......reina's performance recently been well below that expected......agree with yur other suggestions as well....need a good midweek perf b4 we take on maureen's cry babies

It won't do the morale of the players on the fringe of the squad (ie. Dudek) any good if they now the players ahead of them can make cock-ups in two consecutive games and they still don't get a look in.

If Rafa is all for rotation then on his performance this season Reina deserves to be rotated....out.

A big performance in Eindhoven needed ahead of the Chelski game.

Disappointed tho but it's a lesson to learn.(I hope so!) With the selections for PSV, I couldn't agree with you more. Never walk alone!

Wat do u thk of my sugg? Like drop Reina. Garcia for Pennant. Tihs is not bout experience only but also speed! Beating the flanks andn quick feet. They didn't even penetrate Everton's defence. It's totally crap formation n line ups. Rafa must step up.

Spot on mate, Reina needs a kick up the backside - what was he doing, and what is Rafa playing Fowler for.  He is a legend but he is past it - it's now that matters.

a dnt no! i love dudek because of istanbul but be honest...reina is a better keeper and yes a did c what happened on saturday but we cant just change every goalkepper who makes a mistake or well not have a goalkepper! CUM'ON REINA!

I agree with all except i think that Hyypia didn't do "much" wrong against Everton, more so Carragher, i think that he's not match fit at the moment.

But i personally think that Fowler shouldn't start a game all season. Kuyt and Bellamy would be my choice.

And Reina deserves a week off after his poor keeping so far this season.

I reckon we should give Dudek a few games u never know it may even increase his price come January.

I don't think we should drop Reina.  I know he has had a few bad games but remember when we lost 4-1 to Chelsea - after that Reina and the defence improved and then played much better football - so maybe after the Everton loss who knows what will happen.....

i love pepe;however he has made a fair amount of basic mistakes. the kinda ones that we would not see cech or van der saar making. dont get me wrong, i love pepe. i mean 33 clean sheets is a mean record but this was helped with a class defence and after a few too many clangers since the fa cup final i think it is  only right that jerzy gets another crack.

if dude had made those mistakes then he may already have paid the price by now. i think there has been a liitle too much complaceny rather than confidence in th squad at present.

for sure, we have made the best signings ths summer for a long time, but it is important to build on whatt we had last year: we must not compromise a great defence
