PC help need.

My PC is running out of hard drive.

The PC runs OK, so I think all I need is a bigger hard drive, does anybody know how to change a hard drive, I live in the Walton area Liverpool.

Get an external hard drive and transfer all your photos/music/videos etc on to that.

Much simpler option.

Emtpy the recycle bin, do the disk cleanup etc.  A hard drive won't just lose Gigabytes.  If something goes wrong with a sector of the hard disk then your computer just won't work.

theres a magazine i buy called webuser very good it has a website and forum for all pc issues check it out

Check these folders:

C:\Documents and Settings\$username\Local Settings\Temp
C:\WINDOWS\Temp

Where $username = your username.

Check for each user if you have more than one.

And delete them all?

Not the folders but you can delete the files inside them to free up some space.These are temporary folders which usually contain old driver files, old setup files for some applications you installed etc.

I want to thank you all for trying to help me, but one thing you don't know about me, I'm THICK when it comes to my PC, mind you Mobile phones as well.

I used to have a mate who would come down and sort my PC out, and do my upgrades if and when I needed it.
I used to pay him, and I trusted him, but sorry to say he moved, he got a good job in some PC company down south.

What I'm looking for is someone to look after my PC and my laptop, I know there are many people in adverts in papers and things like that, But I don't know them, so I don't trust them.

If someone from this site could recommend someone, I think that is a better way.

Apparently it is a sh*t hot machine from what I gather.

For a kick off that's a blu-ray drive at the bottom.

Maybe he can't get a case big enough or maybe he can't fit all the cooling fans in? 

I think that machine does about 125 work units a day on the Folding at Home project.  A PS3 can do 3.
