Whos Our Best Signing This Season?

So we've had a chance to see most of our new players in action bar Paletta so who do you think is the best buy for the money and who will go on to join our longlist of legends?

I think that the signing of Dirk Kuyt is our best althuogh he has yet to score he has shown alot of promise in the games he has played.

I don't know about becoming a legend in his own time but I have been very impressed with Jermaine Pennant. Three words describe the man- class, class, class.
As for Dirk, if he starts to score prolificly, then there you have your legend. Excellent signing I say...

pennant and aurelio r both very gd BUT they have their off days, but what i have seen of speedy and dirk kuyt they look pure class hope they start piling in the goals soon tho.

Though Pennant & Aurelio have great potential It's Dirk who for me will shine brightest. Once he's got his shooting boots sorted we in for a goal spree.

Hopefully Sunday will be the making of him.

Gonna sit on the fence about Pennant at the minute.

He has yet to have a great game in my opinion.

I've liked what i've seen of Fabio, liked him in spain but wasnt sure how he was gonna adapt to the physical side of the prem but he's done ok, not affraid to tackle and sooner or later one of those free kicks are gonna go top corner!! Dirk's done very well aswell as wasnt sure about him as thought he may have been a Kezman but he's alot better than him!!

Also I know he's not a new new signing but Agger has been awsome!!

I think Kuyt, Mark Gonzalez. Mark is a huge player. I dont understand how Rafa left him on bech. Bellamy is good as well but he's a little cheater and maybe finish number 1 this season in offsides stats.

 

Fabio does not convince me. But it's to soon to make a final decision.

Pennant is a good player but i think he can better so much.

Kuyt.

Best signing of the season for me is Kuyt.

At times he looks almost too clever for the rest of the team.

When they get to know him better he is going to be lethal.

Full of energy, full of running, not scared after he misses a chance to get right back in there.

Debut goal against Newcastle.

Pennant.

Kuyt, love his attitude and his work rate, i think the best is yet to come from him, once he starts scoring the floodgates will open  

Pennant is good,  but his style of play requires good headers of the ball from the cross and that near excludes Bellamy cos hes so small.

im going for kuyt cause hes dutch :p  oh and cause he got very good work rate and he seems to connect with gerrard well.

hes the new van nistelrooy   (when he first got to premiership)

has to be kuyt cause he's become a hero so fast and probably the best in terms of attitude! gonzalez comes second, love his pace and his ability to score as well.

in fact all the signings are good and we can't see anyone becoming a flop as of yet.

i think we need another right man to cover pennant and finnan.

If Liverpool were as determined to get him as we were then why the F**k didn't we get him before the World Cup.  Chelsea got all their deals sorted out.

I know he DIDN'T have a great world cup, but he COULD have done.  Then we would have been priced out of the move.

Our board are, I am afraid, financial numpties.  We continue to succeed in spite of them rather than because of them sometimes.

Apparently the word is that he is really struggling at Anfield.

He spent the first couple of weeks being the big man, that he had finally landed back in the big time.

But now he is just shitting himself that he isn't going to make it at Anfield.

His performances have been on the whole disappointing, I think he is a bit too lightweight and you can see from the way he plays he feels out of his depth.

He best pull his finger out sharpish.
