      Spuds or Potatoes?
      Sep 28, 2008 07:06:06 pm
I know it's a stupid question, but it's a long lasting joke with me and me dad - is their anyone else who calls them spuds? Surely there's gotta be someone.

It's not a scouse thing Ken, every lad I went to school with called them potatoes. Even me own sister grew up calling them spuds then 18 months in Halewood they've suddenly become potatoes.

Might be a north Liverpool thing then. It's always seemed to be spuds around here.

Another thing, do you see loads of girls going the shops in their pajamas?

Of course it is. These girls actually buy spuds in their pajamas down the shops.

Ah now I see the relevance. But round here pajamas look like Sunday best so it's hard to tell the difference :D :D

      Spuds every time.

Mashed spuds, jacket spuds, boiled spuds...  Except roast tatties.
