I've also set up a forum league for us to take each other on in.  We'll arrange a time when we can play matches.

Just a reminder to everyone to make sure their router is correctly set to enable them to play online.  You can turn off the firewall on your router which seems to be the best option when you're just on the PS3.  If you've got PC's on and are worried about security there are a number of ports you need to open on your PS3 to allow you to connect to the vast majority of gamers.

Me and Res got this league off to a start last night.

1-1 it ended up with Crouchy equalising for Res ridiculously late on.

I'd suggest the best way to get these games played is to see who's on and go back and send them a message via the XMB and then if you're both ready one of you invite the other to a league game.

It was a crap goal aswell!

The same thing happened to _LFC_ when I played him after you went. Crouchie took a shot from about 30 yards out, the ball must have been travelling about 5mph and it went in. Couldn't believe it, I see it as an error of the computer, so no win for me

Problem with me streaming live would be that I will need my bandwidth to actually play the game.

Maybe delayed coverage?  Prepared to give it a go streaming live though.

I'm Espana! I kicked arse on FIFA 08 with Spain so I'm hoping this form will continue! Inter aren't much cop on it though, which is dissapointing as they were brilliant last season!

Aha - the economic news I was talking about yesterday!

I'd imagine we will still be on then so just hang around in the dressing room until whatever game we're on finishes sounds like a good idea for all those who arrive a bit late.

Yeah if we can try and get through these games as quick as we can.  If you're online and someone else is just ask via the xmb.  If it's sound then the person who did the asking can invite that player to a league game.

Can people ensure that when they are on FIFA they check the league out and see if other people are online and get some games played.

Anybody who hasn't played at least one league game by next Wednesday night (22nd October) will be removed from the league.

By the way there will be a prize for everyone who does complete all their games in the league (and obviously a better prize for the winner).

Non playing league members will simply be booted out.

Usually, if you go to:

http://192.168.2.1/ it comes up with a control panel for your Router (assuming you got one). There should be a firewall option that allows you to turn it off. It won't be a problem for your PC because it already has a built-in firewall.

That was annoying. At the end i found out that the computer was installing updates. Im getting a new internet connection 24 mbps by Tuesday. So I don't think i should be experiencing that anymore.
I wish it was lagging in the non-league game we had rather than the league game.

We're on a low, but we've come back before.  Shed about 600 points in a week and taken some heavy beatings. Creating chances - just not scoring.

Yup. It's still going, but I'm unsure if anybody is able to invite once it's started.

Going to round this league up by the end of this month so make sure if you have outstanding games against players that you message them to arrange a time.
