I think most people if not everyone is getting sick and tired of it now. The refs or VAR - one has to go, we know we can't vote to get rid of refs so by default the other has to happen.

Too many instances where he's been sent to the monitor for a non event and too many instances where he should've been sent to the monitor for a "clear and obvious" error.

Turning point was when Mac got sent off v Bournemouth.

JĆ¼rgen Klopp spoke about an incident involving a Rodri handball against Everton in 2022 that wasnā€™t given.....

ā€œYou pick yourself up and go again after not winning the league from a goal from Vinnie Kompany or a not given handball from Rodri. It was a crazy situation that handball,ā€ Klopp said.....

ā€œI donā€™t know where we played, but we were on the bus already and the game was on the tele.

ā€œWe watched it and the whole bus shouted ā€˜Handball! Wait, heā€™s not getting it?ā€ You canā€™t change it, but not getting there and then having three weeks to prepare for a Champions League final, these few years were mad,ā€ Klopp said.

Itā€™s been a couple of years now, but itā€™s hard to understate just how poor a decision this was.

Even Dermot Gallagher agreed at the time that Rodriā€™s handball shouldā€™ve been given.

ā€œIt is a penalty, no doubt. I think the VAR inspected it for too long. Paul Tierney is looking through players, he canā€™t see the incident and Rodri is covering him. I think this should have been a VAR decision,ā€ Gallagher said.

Of course, if a penalty was given, thereā€™s no guarantee that it wouldā€™ve been converted, but if Everton did manage to draw that game, the tide of the title race may have been turned in Liverpoolā€™s favour.....

This decision clearly still plays on Kloppā€™s mind at least a little bit.....

Well done Wolves! Letā€™s hope all the clubs vote in favour of scrapping it and that c**t across the water loses his reason to visit this forum.

What a top fella JĆ¼rgen is, I feel sad heā€™s going, but I look and think back to what he has brought to Liverpool and I smile, itā€™s been a wondrous 9 years and for all of us it has been a absolute pleasure to have lived through it, we will take those memories to our graves , we will tell our grand kids one day about JĆ¼rgen Klopp, and how he turned us from ā€œ Doubters to Believers ā€œ itā€™s so difficult to find the right words to describe just how amazing he has been, all we can say is a massive thank you, Iā€™m sure we will say it in a special way at Anfield on Sunday, he is a very special human being and we have been so lucky to have had him in our lives !!

All the best JĆ¼rgen la, Danke

      Well done Wolves.

With the addition of semi automated offside, there is now even less use for VAR seeing as the only thing it gets right.....is telling whether player X is on or off.

We can't get rid of the referees, so in my opinion the next best thing would be to remove the technology they're unable to equip.

VAR has impacted negatively on referee's decision making, increases the risk of doubt not only on themselves but amongst others.

Also I don't like how it's used, VAR in his ear telling him he needs to look at such and such.......the on field ref should have the authority at all times....meaning if he believes he may have missed something at full speed that needs looking at again, he should be the 1 to make that call.
