Some people and pundits are declaring how challenging its going to be to have to follow Klopp.  I see it the other way around -- Arne will be metaphorically standing on the shoulders of giants.  Jürgen helped to wake up the sleeping giant, and he helped to get the fans believing again.  We are a well run club from top to bottom, and we have a good group of players with a good average age in the squad.  Arne is not going to be hindered by having to follow Jürgen -- he will be empowered by the things Jürgen helped build over the last decade!!

Welcome Arne!!!  I can't wait to see where we go from here!!!

His prime was off the charts it's almost unfair to judge him against when he was in the top 3 strikers in the world.

Watched a cracking YouTube video about the Derby 1974 just before the cup final against Newcastle.
The blueshite said Clemence was over rated and Mcdonald would get a hat trick  it's clear their knowledge 50 years ago was on a par with today's muppets.

Impressive to say the least, I think we got another winner with us, just give the fella enough time to instill his methods, his philosophy and his traits, there is absolutely no doubt the players he has inherited are a step up in quality from what he is leaving behind,
We’ve seen enough footage to see his style, his system will suit us to a tee, so let him join all the dots and let’s see what he can produce ??

Welcome Arne to the greatest football club on the planet!!

I hope De Zerbi didn't hand his notice in at Brighton thinking he might get the Liverpool job - dohh!
Aah, I doubt he'd be that fickle. ;D...

It continues to amuse me that they keep bringing rent a quote Noel Gallagher out onto the pitch at these end of season celebrations / end of season interviews.

Like his music these days his human presence is boring, utterly turgid, stale and inauthentic.

Can you imagine if we got Ian Broudie or John Power onto the pitch to interview Jürgen on Sunday? I shudder to think...

His influence has waned over the last year or so, it happens, could be age....could be fed up with how he's been asked/told to play....could be bored and fancies a change....most likely a combination of factors. All players (in any sport) decline, and Salah is into the start of that decline. Can a new manager get more from him? possibly, but Mo in his prime has gone, and apart from the odd glimpse now and again, it isn't coming back.

Wheres the bar for this kid, how good can he be?

The ceiling is pretty high for him. Raw of course but some of his performances were top class.

I think he ended up playing a bit too much this season but it was the circumstances. Konate made of glass, Matip out for the season and Gomez having to fill in elsewhere.
