I was fortunate enough to meet the original King, the Scottish one, in a professional manner, so no details, but jeeze he can't half talk, and feet like a hobbit.
Even my bluenose mate was in awe.
He is a lovely man, and a lovely family too.

Emotional day for sure, but JK should not be compared with any other past manager, we've had quite a few and they should be remebered on thier own merits.

IMHO, and just my feeling only I quite believe Trent will not play RB next season. Even under Klopp I can see Trent express he is not happy playing RB so with new coach I think he will play where he want.
Frimpong can be great but only reason I will not complain if we use money elsewhere is we have our Connor Bradley.

I’m of the same opinion, he will only play RB if there’s injuries to that side.

Biggest compliment I can give him is that Shankly would have loved him
There is only one Bill Shankly and there is only one Jürgen klopp .its going to be nothing short of weird for the next few months not seeing him or hearing his big laugh

Biggest compliment I can give Klopp is that he reminds me of Shanks. He was pivotal in putting you on the map all those years ago. He built Liverpool from nothing and made you the dominant force you were back then. What’s  freaky is both managers also left your club for the same reason ( tiredness) then Sir Bob took over and continued where Shanks left of.

All though I’m biased and vote partly with my heart and think Klopp arguably number two is basically because like Shanks he started with Liverpool being nothing and made you big again after a 30 year wait winning the holy grail ( Premier  League ) of trophies again.

Klopp didn’t have a ready made team, he built it from pretty much limited funds compared to other teams. When he bought VVD  that for me was the major turn around in building a side that then went on to win a few of the major trophies in England & Europe.

The more I think about it I’ve actually realised one of the reasons why I’ve lasted over 10 years on this site is because of the respect I have for him, not bad for a manc I suppose. 😂 Not sure how I’m feeling about tomorrow but if there is a bright side it’s that for me you’ll struggle without him.

Anyway, you lot make sure you’ve got the hankies ready as you’ll need them. I’m sure he will get the send of he fully deserves.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if he's back managing use again at some future point. A big part of me thinks it's inevitable. He has so much love for the city and the club, and he's a football romantic too (said so himself).

      See you later Boss.

Nothing did change in the second half, Oxford won the game 2-0 and will be playing in the Championship next season.

Something about being ordered to stop..and he didn't but inadvertently dragged a copper a few yards. Hope he didn't.."Do you know who I am.."

      " Yeah...we know who you are Sir...you're a f'kin asshole''
If he was black he'd have been shot dead.
