      Thank God for that!

Here in OZ they seem to take the talkaloadofbull site for granted they were suggesting he was gone for 9 mill.

Surely that cant be our Daniel going.

I am a huge fan of Agger.he is my third favourite lfc player after gerrard and torres and for nothing i would let him go.i would be the happiest fan if agger stays and plays in starting eleven for Liverpool.

GOING ? STAYING ? Still don't really know do we ?If he is staying does that mean his wages have been doubled ?I personally hope he is staying cos a player of his ability should be commanding more than 30k (as players wages go ) :f_steam: :f_doh:

Right deal is off so for those of you who said "pack your bags and go Dan" I hope you all feel a little bit like s**t now
I was one of the pack your bags crew but on the basis of the fact that it dragged on for weeks and the only news was through the agent  - talking money talk with no word off the man himself, the only conclusion to be drawn was that a transfer was in the offing ,I'm made up that wasn't the case and he is staying we could do with a bit of good news right now.

Great news if the deal is off.

Hopefully he'll sign a longish contract which will see him play his best years here at Anfield.

If his heart isn't in it, and he doesn't wanna play for LFC, then I think ANY player should go. Even Stevie or Carra.

Agger's agent resists exit talk http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,16368,1776_4801691,00.html

Daniel Agger's agent, Per Steffensen has dismissed reports linking the Liverpool defender with AC Milan or any other club.

The reports surfaced after Steffensen was seen in Milan - but he insists his client is not on the verge of leaving Liverpool.

The Denmark international, who joined Liverpool from Brondby three years ago, is under contract until the summer of 2010.

However Agger's agent maintains that he always conducts his business professionally and would never hold secret talks with another club.

Agger's future has been the subject of speculation for some time but Steffensen insists the 24-year-old is happy at Anfield.

"Daniel is still under contract with Liverpool for 18 months," Steffensen told Ekstra Bladet.

"I am a reliable player agent and it is obvious that I am not starting any negotiations concerning a transfer in such a situation.

"Whoever wants to sign Daniel at this point has to get in touch with Liverpool FC first. These are the rules in this business.

"Daniel does not want to move actually."

Agger has made nine appearances for the Reds this season and is held in high regard by manager Rafa Benitez.

This is what I want to hear, but now I wanted to hear it from agger too. Come on lfc offer him a good offer.
But if you are sad at lfc you can pick your things.

Thing is he said he wanted to stay but as soon as there was a rumour people were stabbing him in the back same people wholl declare how much they adore him when he helps to land a trophy in May

I'm so glad to hear he is staying. I didnt believe he could be leaving at first, but then with the rumours growing I was really worried with the perspective of losing such a brilliant defender - who is the future of our defence with Skrtel, since Carra and Sami wont be there for a very long time

We've seen it before. A player says they want to stay somewhere until they retire but don't mean a word of it.
I'm a fan of Agger, and even if he went, i'd still be grateful for the service hes done to this club. But if he doesn't want to play here, even after insisting he does, then he should go. End of story. Nothing to do with impressionably jumping onto whatever train passes.

If i were in charge i'd say no to everything below 25 million, how many class centre backs are there so good on the ball and going forward as well as defensively sound? Not many with the experience he has. Its a no sale IMO.

In saying that though, i never heard of Agger before he came so maybe Rafa and his merry men have a few others in mind should he leave.

Agger is very valuable...As he is a great defender, also he can score, (which is a bonus)
