Adios January

A rubbish month for the reds in the league

Stoke (A) 0-0
Everton (H) 1-1
Wigan (A) 1-1

P3 D3

Maybe we should be thankful we didn't play 4 league games like we did last January?

Wigan (H) 1-1
Middlesbrough (A) 1-1
Aston Villa (H) 2-2
West Ham (A) 0-1

P4 D3 L1

(Although in 2007 we won all 4 of our games in January without conceding a goal scoring 10 goals in the process)

And....we couldn't even score against Stoke. And lost the lead against Everton and Wigan.

Results are results. 

But we have to be stronger mentally. Because to me, we have been far too weak in our attitude in January. Not strong enough at all. Bad month.

Jan has been poor...a Kromkamp kind of month...Can only get better...I hope...

the way we are heading is down and never mind win the league if we lose to chelski and man scum win on saturday we'll be lucky to finish in top 4, its a problem with the way rafa's tactics in when were ahead defend then when we concede its too late to put a midfielder on. our season is a mirror of the way we play, start great have a dip then fade out of contention instead of going for it.

if pushed....at my weakest moment....I might agree that we might finished forth....I feel dirty...I must have a shower... I have violated my true love by speaking such words....I don'rt mean it!....god I hope I am so wrong... I am getting weaker...

Terrible month no doubt. February may see a Reds revival and a CL campaign to boot.

the fact remains were still closer to the top at the and of january than i can remember, so lets take the positives if we can 3 league games ago we demolished bolton and newcastle so its not all over by along shot. Torres fact will get his form back. And we still can do it lets start relaxing a bit and enjoying the fact that were on the scums arses. Come on you mighty reds!!!!!

Shocking month for us. Our new November! Good riddance I reckon.

Awful month.

The team and us fans have taken a beating in the papers and from fans of rival clubs, but I'm confident that we can rectify this situation come February.
Starting with a win over Chelsea.

3 points out of 9 just isn't good enough, IMO.

A month to forget. Poor football with poor results.

Ah well, a win on Sunday and put the bitters out of the cup and it will all be a distant memory!!

Definitely a month to forget. Can't believe how many points we've dropped when we easily should have won.

Thats the thing with us, we get many chances to score but cant convert them.

At least we improved from last season, we didn't lose in january this year

got to look for positive havent beeb beaten since november. man utd have a lot of injuries,just got to score more but dont know who can do that need at least 2 goals to nail a win. defending a 1 goal win doesnt work.
