Is football really this important ,I cant believe the mayhem  a football result could have over Britain ending in the deaths of 4 or 5 people , running battles mobs baying for blood all because one of them won the league .
The reason Im asking this is every so often the question of these 2 getting into the English leagues comes up and I wanted to see what the rest of you thought.
IMO I wouldnt let them anywhere near English football ,the religous  bile  that comes with them is something the English game can do well without .

they would be an asset  financially of course they would, but the extras that come with them ,they're well left alone to fester where they are .

Personally don't think they should be joining the Premier League, they've already got a league to play in.

There isnt much point talking about it as it will never happen will it . What it would bring is another two solid premiership clubs into our league . Without a doubt if Celtic or Rangers got hold of the finance that a premiership club gets they would be in the higher regions of the league sooner rather than later.

There league is officially dead the standard of player that is moving there is very very poor . Gone are the days of laudrup , Di Canio or Larrson now is the time of Samaras , Novo and Van vennogor of hessinlink .

Strangely enough good point. Theres a few other players I would of used instead of vennegoor (can't be arsed trying to spell the rest of his name), he's a half-decent striker. But I know what you mean.
