The weekend away thread

So was wondering if you get the chance to get away for the weekend where do you go? At present my favourite is to book a nice hotel in Harrogate as I love the relaxed atmosphere and the traditional pubs, plus it's only 20 mins from York if you fancy a trip out

Our last weekend trip was to Berlin, been there a few times before, very cool city, plenty to do. Going to Zurich the weekend before Christmas. then after that another Liverpool trip hopefully in the new year.

I always seem to fancy a weekend in Liverpool.....don't ask me why though 

I just got back from liverpool , took the wife to see Andrea Bocelli in the Echo arena , my pockets are empty now , bangers and mash for xmas dinner.

A fantastic performance George , he sang the Beatles song Yesterday near the end as a tribute to the people of Liverpool .

Heading over to Liverpool on Friday morning for the weekend with a few mates.  Birthday parties on both Friday and Saturday so going to be a messy one.

Not going to the game unfortunately, no doubt will find somewhere to watch it though!  Staying at the International Inn for the first time, cheap and cheerful I've heard.  Have no idea where all we're going but not looking forward to the hangover on Saturday and the early morning flight on Sunday morning!!!
