I've put Jay in because I don't think Xabi will be here come the Spurs game and I'd like to see how the Jay/Masch partnership works.

Really looking forward to this tonight, If Rafa goes with his strongest line up I'm expecting  Torres to bag a hatrick on his home soil Gerrard to bag a brace and Nemeth to come on and pinch one for himself. Nothing like a little optimism in pre-season.

I expect the lads to move up a gear tonight, the opposition is stronger than that of Singapore, so as it's getting closer and closer to the start of the Premiership campaign, I'm looking for a higher tempo from the lads.

I'd like to see Rafa put out a good strong team and I expect to see a Liverpool win, possibly by 3 goals to one.

Unfortunately Agger or Skrtel won't be playing, so we'll have to see who Rafa puts at the back with Carra, fortunately Johnson and Yossi are fit to play.

What about giving spearing a chance ? Spearing and Masch in the center of the park anyone ? It could really help him as i think he can do a better job in the middle than Lucas.

I think he might be, just to make up numbers. Dont expect a run out, or one for more than 10 minutes. If he starts, imagine the reaction.

If Alonso has his mind made up then forget him. No player is bigger then Liverpool FC. We should be playing players that will be playing for us next season.

Lucas or Spearing. I am really excited about this game i think Benitez will tell the team to step it up a gear and i really am optimistic if Riera plays as i am sure he will be very attacking Torres also look's very sharp early on in his return from holiday which is always good. Hopefully Insua if he plays will put in a good shift wishing the team all the best. Anyone know when the official starting 11 will be known ?
