US vs England....World Cup Wager.

ANYONE UP FOR A LITTLE WAGER..A FRIENDLY BET?  Just like they do at the end of the Matches.. Jersey for Jersey. 

Just a goodwill gesture.  England and the US haven't played in World Cup match in over 60 years.  If England Win..I'll ship you an Official USA Jersey.  If the US win I get an Official England Jersey. 

It doesn't have to be a top of the line super expensive jersey. Just a straight up nice Jersey. Good Stitching, Patches etc...

Nice idea! I will not partake, being Aussie. But i will be watching on in great interest on this game. Be a belter i think, the Yanks will be well up for it!

Yeah, HUGE UPSET.  We actually won the match, It was just a bunch of guys who played in a local league and combined with some others to form our first National team.  It was just 1 in a million. That England team could of beaten us 999 times out of a 1000. It just  happened that the 1 time, was a World Cup Match. 

Much like the Spain v USA match then :

1 in 1000 chance that

 I well remember the last time when the U.S.A beat England,it was the biggest upset ever.It should also be remembered that it was in the days before there was any professional teams in the States like there are today.It was pre Pele days.

I would not want a US "Soccer" Shirt :

I dont have any "England" tops.   I know a few stores that sell them. Plus closer we get to the WC their will be more and more available.

I have a cheap Liverpool top and a Celtic top.  I have about 6 Cleveland Browns Jerseys, A Yankee Babe Ruth Jersey,  Some NY Rangers Hockey Jersey's.  One of the Rangers Jerseys is a real Jersey, Nice. I love that one. It has the old school shoe lace threading up around the neck. Misc. College and Baseball t-shirts.  Typical American closet.  Too many sports shirts and a half dozen dress shirts.

This forum should really have a swap,trade or sell thread. 

I have a METS shirt and have had it for a while so I could do with a USA XL top it will also add to my collection of American NFL shirts,I'm up for it.

If England Wins not only will I post a pic wearing the England Jersey, But I'll also be crying in my Beer!

Honestly, being a Yank I want to see the U.S. move out of the group stage. I think It will be England and the US moving on. But I dont know anything about Algeria or Slovenia.

England certainly, so far they have been great.  I would just like to see the U.S advance and maybe get some world respect. Theirs still a lot of people, on this forum too, who think our team is just a joke, but we have some good, solid footballers.  10 years ago you would never dream of an American player starting in the EPL, but its happened now and more and more of our young kids our coming over for academies and playing in league 1 and 2.  It's a start.

Will an American ever captain an EPL title team, maybe. I like the direction our youth training has developed these kids to play in Europe and succeed.

I dont think we have any Ronaldo's, Messi's or Kaka's but eventually their will be a top tier Yank playing in England. I think Altidore has potential, with some years playing in England he could be a star.

Us English will Beat the Yanks but I reckon you'll give us a good game. I reckon 2-0 to England Gerrard and Rooney providing they are of course fingers crossed in the sqaud.
