England U21 v Azerbaijan U21 on tonight.  England took an early lead through Craig Dawson.  Our Hendo is captain, Flanno is RB and Jonjo is on the bench.

On ESPN mate.  Lansbury puts England 2-0 up with an overhead kick in the box.

  Half time at the moment.  All very easy for England, Flanno's not had much to do, Hendo's the more advanced of the CMs and has done pretty well.  Had one chance early on but got his direction all wrong and he put it wide of the goal.  Also had a decent run all round the left hand side of their box, but no one got on the end of his cross.

Took his goal well, a curling shot from the left side of the box again.  The other goals were a header from WBA's CB Dawson and the overhead kick I mentioned above from Arse's Lansbury.

Second half's started, Azabaijan getting into the game more.  An error near England's box by Oxelade Chamberlain was almost costly.  Couple of moves involving Flanno so far, one ended up with a penalty shout which wasn't given.

And just as I sing his praises he gets a yellow   Ooh, good free kick well saved by Butland.

Great cross from the right from Hendo, Oxelade Chamberlain unlucky to not get anything on it.  Should have been four.

England get a fourth, Lansbury's second of the night.  Right old flap by the keeper palmed it towards him and he volleyed it through the keeper and into the net.

Great ball from Hendo from deep in his own half to find Sordell who wins a corner which Dawson heads wide.

Jonjo on for Oxlade Chamberlain with 12 minutes to go.

Another goal for Dawson from a corner, 6-0 now.  Azabaijan have been really poor at defending corners!  Shelvey's looked good since he's come on, made some excellent passes.  FT, 6-0.  Good all round games from our young Reds.

He is doing okay. He has been out of the game for long periods. Flanagan has got better as the game has gone on. Shelvey was impressive when he came on his passing was very good

Ain't gazza chamberlain and lansbury were englands best players.  Henderson was decent but was missing for large parts of the second half.  He was better than rodwell but saw more of Shelvey on the ball in his fifteen mins on the pitch than i saw of Henderson in the whole second half

As do I. I think he could be in there with Coates in the 5 years time. Shame to see him playing at right back tonight though.
