If the club undertook a 70,000+ seater stadium to be finished in the next 2-3 years then i'd choose stadium every time.

The fact is now that with our 45,000 seater capacity we are financially at the brink with regards to our wage budget, which probably stands about £1,000,000 a week. If we had more money to spend and say we added to the wage budget about 300 or 400,000 extra then the club would be leaking money every week and we would be even more in the muck and mier.

It only makes sense that we urgently move to a bigger stadium, so we can increase our ticket revenue, and with that attract better and more expensive players to the club.

Mates this bloke Hicks is a top tw*t.Not only has he messed up our club, but now in his "exit strategy" he is trying to repay our opposition,by playing with our minds.Believe me the fuckers gone,Hicks my arse.It will take time but we will recover, and the new stadium will be the best in the world,by a long way.

You can't build sh*t unless your footings are solid and ours most certainly are not we need world class wide men, quality back up for Torres, a more pro active midfield and an all round better second string.
Why build a new arena to showcase our failings?

Did you miss the initial question of this thread? If and when we'd have new owners...
No way we'd ever relegate with our current squad plus another 50 million to spend on new players.

Well then I'd still renovate Anfield, too many dreams and memories for Anfield to be knocked down, F**k the emirates and the rest of these new shiny, same old same old stadiums, give me Shankly's Anfield any day of the week.

Won't be the same if we do get another stadium.

Yeah well, when we're doing well again and all the bellends like you start coming back, then its nigh on impossible to get tickets.

Plus, theres the waiting list for season tickets thats a massive issue. Not that you'd know anything about that.

Where were you at the Reading game?

You've been doing the "liverpool thing" wrong all these years by the sounds of it.

Ya agree unless the team is successful there is no point having a big stadium to be honest.  What is the point of having a big stadium in we have no investment in the team all that will lead to is relegation.

People have other priorities around Christmas mate. Its expensive to go to every game and not just one a year and rave about it.

Also didnt help that Wigan only had about 500 in their section.

Agreed HR,consistently tw*ts.Priorities are, proper owners, investment in squad, and new stadium build.Much as I hate to see the demise of Anfield,we need an increased capacity similar to the other major European teams.Rest assured folks,at some point, there will be a European Superleague, and we have to be part of that.

A 120,000 seater stadium is better. Short term pain long term gain.

If the right owner is found, 120,000 seater is nothing, luckily mr. chelski is not building one at the moment.
