      Jun 21, 2010 03:50:37 pm
Chile: Bravo; Jara, Ponce, Medel; Isla, Carmona, Vidal; M. Fernández; Sánchez, Suazo, Beausejour

Switzerland: Benaglio; Lichtsteiner, Von Bergen, Grichting, Ziegler; Behrami, Huggel, Inler, Fernandes; Frei, Nkufo

Very important game that, Chile still have to play vs Spain so they need a good result today. They have a good team (and their top scorer Suazo is finally back!) but the Swiss also showed their quality in the first game.

      C'mon Chile!

There seems to have been loads of soft red cards so far during the first set and a half of games.

I would be furious if I'd got a red card for that.

'El Mago' Valdivia making a big impact so far, coming from the bench.

Alexis Sanchez is a very good player but his finishing has been poor in the competition so far.

Switzerland has just beaten the World Cup record for most time without conceading. 550 minutes, more than 9 hours. The previous record was held by Italy (86 & 90).

For those who dont remember, in 2006 the Swiss went out on penalties vs Ukraine without conceading one single goal.

Chile missed a few good chances to make a better goal difference. It's gonna be vital to qualify, considering Spain will probably beat Honduras later today, as will Switzerland in the next game.

So in this group's last round, it will depend of each team's goal difference - if Chile loses to Spain ,they could still be out even winning their both games so far, cause they'll all have 6 points.

Well done Chile anyway, only Brazil, Argentina, Holland and now Chile have won their 2 first games in this World Cup. It's nice to see Latin American football doing very well so far, with Uruguay and Mexico also likely to qualify.

Marcelo 'El Loco' Bielsa doing a wonderful job with Chile, only 1 point behind Brazil in South American qualification and now also showing good attacking football in the WC.

Valdivia changed the game coming from the bench at half time. I also like Chile's defensive midfielder a lot, Carmona, he's been playing very well.

Chile might rue their chances not getting a couple of more goals vs the Swiss who with 10 men tried hard but couldn't handle them.

Chile are actually a fantastic team. Think I'll be following them closely after England's exit on Wednesday.

I actually quite enjoyed it, funnily enough. Can't beat a bit of a scrap, and that last 15 mins in particular was end-to-end action at its finest.
