      Hah! F***ing same.

Didn't know you meant you lost it thanks to the software upgrade. It did that to me, too. You have to manually re-do it.

3 hours later and i'm halfway through putting my music back on - minus all the effort of cleaning up the song names, applying album covers, playlists etc. Might take another 4 or 5 hours to do.

Few questions if anyone has any answers:

My PC broke, just conked out and died - I had my Itunes on this machine which I now need to replace and my IPOD was synced to it.

When I get my new PC how will Itunes work.

Also - does anyone know where to get just a PC rather than a screen, keyboard etc.

      Cheers

Ok first off, as the iPod was synced to the now broken computer, it will delete everything you have on it when you try to sync it to a new computer. My suggestion would be to call a repair shop and see if they can get all your music files and stuff from the hard drive. Once you have them then slap them onto the new computer, sync the iPod to the new computer and it'll warn you the iPod will delete everything as it's been conncected to a previous library and then let the sync do it's job. Hey Presto!

About the PC, go into PC World/Currys or something and say you just want the base unit on it's own. All these kind of shops do sell them on their own but they just add in the monitor and keyboard etc in to special offers. Hope it helps.

Actually, you can sync your iPod to 2 computers. So as long as you didn't sync it to another computer, it will load normally on iTunes on your new one.
