Under Soil Heating At Melwood - Will We Reap The Rewards?
      Dec 23, 2010 12:36:32 am
Heard Roy mention this in today's interview. He praised a previous manager's foresight for installing it. This has allowed the team problem free training while other teams give their players time off due to frozen training grounds. Two questions. Which previous manager brought it in? Will we reap the rewards in a busy week, with three games so close together?

Doesn't matter a sh*te what Woy says. Will he even last those 3 matches.
No point having under-soil heating at Melwood seeing as that gobs***e wouldn't
know how to turn it on or off. Oh,by the way, will somebody tell him we're not
playing 50's or 60's cricket. What a knob.

training in grass in the cold yes, but won't the games be playing on essentially heated up frozen pitches? They will ahve climatised to the conditions but maybe not the surface.
