Even if the majority of us are club before country I doubt that goes for the majority of players.

The majority of players, good ones at least, want every medal available and to get into the elite club of world football by having a world cup winners medal for a player has to be the pinnacle. To be a member of a team who have been crowned the best in the world is a legacy for your following generations.

Whilst I want LFC to win everything possible, I want the same for our players.

Rough with the smooth an all that.

What a little rat. If Carroll wants to go then fair enough, but that tit Pearce refusing to ring Kenny and agreeing to get in touch with Wenger.

      Ignorant little pr**k.

If he wants to go, then let him go, don't want an unhappy player do we. As others have said, injury is the biggest worry, and then burnout.

Perhaps if we knew for sure he was going, we could let him finish up the season now, and get a months break now so he would still have somebit of a break during the summer.

Hateful little man. No respect for The King. Both players back from injury. Both managers deserve a call. P**ck
Don't think Wilshere's back from injury, he's been in Arsenal's team all season.

But still what the f**k is he on about, he wants to show respect to Wenger, but 'there's no need to call Liverpool's manager'. I really don't want Carroll to go either, he needs a full pre-season, but if he wants to go, fair enough.

blimey, what a fuss & alot of paranoids...

pearce knows what kenny's about & knows that it isnt a problem, he also knows wengers is a whinning little sh*t - now tell mee who he has respect for. saying that he prob respects both about the same, but knows one will react for the media fuss.

also its totally different, wilsheres come off a full season & carroll hasnt. infact we could do with carroll getting the games & some mtach fitness so he is up & running for next season.

a couple of other things - dont sign internationals if you dont want them called up & its the player that should have the final say unless when he signs he says its down to the club.

Andy wants to go and I'm pretty sure Kenny has told Pearce that he's fine with it which is why he didn't talk to Kenny but I've got no F***ing idea why he didn't say that in the interview.

As for Andy, he could do with some games under his belt. He'll cause the other teams massive problems and I can see him scoring a fair few which will hopefully make him very confident in August.

More concerned about him getting a goal or two in the last three games though.

He's a caveman who thinks a cultured clearance is one that bounces in the road before it goes over the houses outside the ground.

He played for a c**t of a manager and a scab load of fans!
And I dont like him either....

I'm all for it if Andy wants to go, it will deffo help with his fitness.

I just hope he comes back the way he left, in one solid piece.

I agree with Kenny point he made about the situation a month ago where players like Carroll and Wilshere already broke into the senior side so really no need for them to be going back to the U21.

Think it has more to do with Capello wanting him rested and ready for England's qualifiers.

The FA don't give a toss about Liverpool.
