Didnt know where to post this, but it happened on a football field, so here it goes:
In my country we are worried that some fans might throw stones to the ref, but this incident from Iranian football is just ridiculous!!!
Someone threw a granade to the ref...a player picked it up, and threw it away before it blew up (granted, it was not a high power granade, but still...!)

Netherlands-Cyprus, european qualification 1987. This incident could've caused us not to be allowed to play at Euro 1988, the only tournament we ever won.

Recently there was a Dutch tv show that brought the keeper and the bomb thrower together after all these years. The keeper actually had only good memories about it, because after that him and his wife were invited to Holland again and recieved as heroes. The bomb thrower however, he basically suffered his whole life because of the consequences.
