Both his manager and he have stated that he isn't going anywhere.

Why would he? He's going to be seeing more minutes as PSG's CL campaign picks up.

I really don't know why we even bother thinking that players like him and Holtby would want to come here when they are already at top teams.

Well, Ibra likes to play upfront on his own and with his current form, there is no arguing him plus they have Jeremy Menez, Javier Pastore, Lavezzi and now, Lucas Moura vying for those attacking roles with Matuidi and Motta shielding the defence. PLUS there is this little thing that PSG has got a bottomless pit of cash, so they will definitely go out and buy more "superstars" to be more successful next season.

BUT on the other side, with Luyindula signing for NY Red Bulls and Hoarau being told he could leave, they would have only 2 official strikers in Ibra and Gameiro. So could be a task in trying to persuade them to part with 3 strikers in the space of 2 months.

      May be in the summer.

Rejects me every F***ing time on Football Manager. Let's do the same to him. Stay in Paris and rot*.

But seriously, i like him. Has that 'it' about him that you can't help but like.

*Has that term ever been used?

      Possibly not since WWII.

Haven't seen him play. Based on the video he is a typical number 9. Is he any good in link up play?

Seen him play when he was at his previous club Lorente.
Ive called him a Huntelaar lite on here and that would be a good description.
Technically good all round and he is a player who you always think will do something on the ball.

So he isn't coming? Damn. I liked the lad, he's the sort we need on our side.

Either loan or purchase, him and Sturridge would make it a successful window for me

I would rather us try for Lavezzi, i rate him highly and PSG wont sell him since they bought him this summer. that said, a cheeky bid wont hurt us. as far as i know Ancelotti plays Menez more often then Lavezzi. And now since PSG are loaded with money they can afford to sell and buy whoever they want. so you never know.

I wouldnt mind us signing Patore either. what a player he is. Him, gerrard and Lucas/allen/shelvey/hendo would destroy teams :)

I would love Lavezzi here but to think FSG would even consider bidding for him is fantasy stuff.

      Lavezzi Suarez Sturridge

Looks amazing but not going to happen for us.

Gotta love Wikipedia, they already show his current club as Liverpool:

      Full name Kévin Gameiro
      Date of birth (1987-05-09) 9 May 1987 (age 25)
      Place of birth Senlis, France
      Height 1.72 m (5 ft 7 1⁄2 in)
      Playing position Striker
      Club information
      Current club Liverpool FC

      Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/K%C3%A9vin_Gameiro

      Then further down it states:

"Gameiro has not signed for Liverpool football club although it has been rumoured that Liverpool are interested in taking him on loan."

      Well played Wikipedia, well played....

Of all the players we have been linked with this window (Sturridge aside) this is the one that I want to see happen the most.  What I like most about Gameiro (besides the fact that he has quality) is that he works his socks off for the team.  Between him, Borini, Suarez, and Sturridge we would have a very athletic, fast, and determined bunch of forwards who would press from the front, make runs in behind, and cause defenders all sorts of headaches with their constant interchanging of positions.

More chance of the Lavezzi signing than us banging Mila Kunis. ;D

France striker Guillaume Hoarau has left Paris Saint-Germain and has signed a three-year contract with Chinese club Dalian Aerbin, the Francefootball.fr website reports according to BBC Monitoring. His annual salary will be 4m euros, the report says.

Don't think Gameiro will move now as they'll have no cover for Ibra.
