So Sturridge will have no pre-season, so lets be brutally honest here and say he wont be properly fit til October at best,

With Suarez likely to leave as well, thats two strikers we ideally need to pick up, as soon as possible IMHO.

Four strikers. The basic tenent of a professional football side.

      Ligament?

I was running across an overgrown garden few years back and a foot went into an old post hole.
      The rest of me continued.
In plaster with torn ankle ligaments for three months.
Hospital said can be worse than a straight break.

Thing is. It is never as strong as before and you are aware of it.

      Thanks Woys and Co.

Im dying for the FAs statement when they appointed Roy that it would be held up as a defining moment ........to be shoved right up their arse when we miss out on qualification.
Then also for old ' Arry to turn around and tell em that he is loving life too much down on SandBanks to f**k about with the England team.

BTW . Wasn't it whatever Ferguson said .....went ?
If his player wasnt OK or he was pulling strokes there was no problem with keeping them off.

I think it is reported on B.B.C. Sport that Liverpool Football Club expect Sturridge to be available for the start of the season. If this news is correct it can only mean good news for us.

Still touch and go at the moment, it's just that the injury isn't as bad as first feared.

Rather than use the word expect, the offal have gone with the word 'hope.'

I'm sort of hoping all our international players are injured pre-season,(not seriously) that way no will get injured in the madness of having a friendly just prior to the seasons kick-off, you know the 'jolly' for the tw*ts at Soho Sq, so called friendly England V whoever meaningless greedfest.
