what exactly is the point of going out of your way to start a thread based on an article that you think is rubbish, by a journo you slag off?

If you really think that poorly of it then just don't post it.

Maybe we could take it a step further. The journo's writing sh*t, therefore he could just stop.  Or his editor could realize he's been writing sh*te and not publish it.  Even better, the hoardes of idiots that buy such shitty excuses of newspapers could all have an epiphany and stop purchasing them.

posting it here only encourages it.  If you think something is rubbish and not worthy of discussion then just don't post it.  simple as.

2, If it transpires that he's a transfer target then there's a thread to discuss it

3, If it transpires that he's a transfer target then the thread might have posts in by those with more knowledge of him that people can peruse and thereby become more knowledgable

Or not to discuss it. Or simply to ask the question "Why post an article if you think it's rubbish?"; whilst posting that you think a post is rubbish.

Not forgetting that we might be able to weave Diame and Borini into the narrative. 

He was this year the best player of the portuguese league, and I'm a Benfica fan. He's already a world class player, but with Gerrard playing in the deep position of midfield I really don't know If we really need him, 'cause he's going to be expensive.
