What's our strongest front 3?

What do you think our strongest front 3 is, now that they're all fit?
(Unless I'm mistaken, tonight was the first time our 5 main strikers played in the same game, with all due respect to Taki and Divock).

Do you go with the "old guard", Sadio-Bobby-Mo, or do you bring in the "new kids", Luis and Diogo?

My pick:
Luis-Bobby-Mo

My pick:
Luis-Bobby-Mo

Honestly think it goes on the game and within each game.

But Bobby is the key. He makes us different to the other 4

If all players are in top form I would go with:

Diaz Bobby Salah

Simply because I think having Bobby through the middle has always led Salah to play his best football and no doubt would help do the same for Diaz.

If Bobby is not in form then I'd slot Jota in instead as he is always a goal threat, he has the clinical eye for goal now that Sadio once had.

Mo Bobby and Sadio on form are just unplayable but then Jota, scores Luis is a monster and when you need a goal in an important game we have Divok Origi 6 strikers not 5 as is often mentioned all capable of scoring goals,
But 2 goals against in 9 games WOW just WOW

For me the formula reads: Salah > (Mané = Bobby = Jota = Diaz) > Origi > (Minamino = Ox).

So you cannot answer the question since there are some equally good combinations. One thing is clear: we a very deep on offense and therefore no need for Haaland or any reinforcement.

I think it all depends on the opposition, but Diaz, Bobby and Salah would be my choice and what a lovely position to be in to have such strength with Mane and Jota on the bench.

It's amazing that this is finally a proper question for our squad.

At the moment I think Salah is in there and Mane at the moment just seems a bit off it. Can't pick the other three apart for the last two spots.

Nail hit & head springs to mind Cass, it’s a hell of a dilemma we’re so lucky to have, goals are the name of the game married up with clean sheets and we have both in abundance, add the flair, guile and intelligence from midfield and what we are left with is squad of players capable of conquering the ‘bloody world’ as our founding father famously said, oh how I wish he could see what we have become, certainly footballing wise,

I think it’s safe to say he would be smiling, as for the present, like you said,  it will depend who we are up against, first half last night didn’t work, he gave it a while longer and decided to change, Jota scored of course but the decision had already been made, probably at HT, and obviously the right one, he returned to the tried and trusted three amigos that won us the game, but let’s not forget Ali’s save at the other end, that was as good as scoring another goal for me, hence the clean sheet analogy.


We are truly blessed not only with the squad we have but how Jürgen can manipulate it to get the job done, and I’ll add another quote from the great man, Jürgen will I believe make us the ‘Bastions of Invincibility’ only a matter of time !!

My pick:
Luis-Bobby-Mo

Luis- Salah - Jota.

Sadio left, Mo right and Diogo through the middle all day for me. Diogo has earned his starting place over the past 2 seasons.

But with Bobby, Taki, Luis and even Divock still around, I've never seen us this strong.

Probably a case of horses for courses but that's my first choice.

I like that too 😀  ... Luis really has hit the ground running. Big one for me is Jota. Work rate, hold up play/link play ... creativity and goals as well. Just the all round package. A bargain.

Really hard to say at the moment as all have their qualities

As most say depends on the opposition but on current form it's probably Diaz, Mane and Salah.

I think i go Lucho-Jota-Salah

Bobby is a tough drop, but Jota is immense with his movement and gives us an aerial threat with his headers.

For me, it's Mane (LW), Jota and Salah.

Jota is a very good finisher, better than the Firmino we have now. Yes, Firmino is a very good playmaker for Salah and Mane, but at the end, scoring goals is what matters. Jota is currently the second in the league, that's something! He showed against Arsenal that although he was far from his very best, he could have an impact on the game at any time. He did. That's what great players do. One moment is enough.

For me, it's Mane-Jota-Salah.

I was pleasantly surprised by Mane in the No. 9 position. He did great. So I would not mind having Jota on the wing.

Diaz is technically very good, but in terms of impact on the team, Jota and Mane are still in front of him. Even Firmino. I think we were surprised to see how technically gifted he is but Jota, Mane and Firmino are as good if not better when in form.

Don't right Sadio off just yet he does and incredible job for the team and Jürgen likes team players.
We have a front 6 now depending on form and injury we are such a force up front and will score goals .If we get to the FA Cup final and everyone is fit I still think Jürgen will go with the old guard who has never let him down.
Diaz and Jota can also claim to be first choice as they do (in particular Jota) perform to the highest standard. Divok is a wild card just when you think we have run out of ideas you bring on Divok we have every possibility upfront now .
The next couple of months are going to be stressful and joyful in equal measures
