He has dug his own grave - all he needs to do now is lie in it.

He needs some serious PR advice. I can't believe he was so quiet over the last 2 or 3 months? Well actually, I can believe why he was so quiet. He kept quiet as he most probably wanted to look after number 1 - himself.

Maybe he wanted to speak out but was too weak to do so. Maybe he wanted to say something but felt that he must keep the owners sweet, regardless of what happens to Rafa. That showed a lack of integrity and courage.
When Rafa stood up to H & G late last year,it looked like Parry sided with them. How do you think Rafa felt about that? There were rumours, lies and silly talk. Any other organization would of come forward and spoken out in the midst of the chaos, to clear the air and settle any doubts but oh no, not Liverpool with Parry at the helm. He was silent and let the Media have an absolute field day. In fact he only came forward (told to most probably) when he had to defend  H&G.

How do you think that affected training sessions? The players all read the newspapers. If we get worried and anxious it must affect them too. There we were, exciting new season ahead of us. Great start in the premiership, then what? Talk of the manager getting the sack??

It's appalling the way the Clubs affairs have been handled and its all down to one person not have the strength of character to stand up to the owners. We are just left wondering what has happened to our club whilst suffering as its dragged through the mire for every journalist to jump on the 'lets have a swipe at Liverpool' bandwagon.
Admittedly he has allegedly fought alongside Moores to stop all the debt being off loaded onto the Club but that's too little too late.

Parry had a choice to make, back H&G and keep quiet and keep his job, hoping it will all blow over, or, stand up to H&G and possibly lose his job but walk out with the respect of the fans.

He had a choice. He chose to back H&G through all this. He's hoping for a change of fortune, that this will blow over but he can't expect the fans to respect him now.

There's no point saving your job if you're not wanted - best to move on.

How does pubes head sleep at night?

Probably very well... thinking about the interest paying in his secret Bermudan current account that Hicks and Gillett rather filled last year...

      From The Kop Paper

Rick Parry has stated that Liverpool will not hike up ticket prices following the move to Stanley Park -providing the club fills the stadium and is successful on the pitch.

As the kop reported, owners Gillett and Hicks are looking to borrow £500 million to finance the new stadium, and pay off the initial £298 million they borrowed to purchase the club, which led to fears that ticket prices would rocket at the new ground.

But Parry has claimed that Liverpool supporters will not be priced out of Stanley Park when it is built.

"There is no need for fans to be concerned about ticket prices being hiked up," he said.

"The business model that we have will work without increasing the cost of watching the team - if we build a team that is successful on the pitch and fills the stadium.

"Our owners are smart enough to know that if you get the pricing policy wrong, you won't fill the stadium.

"They know that the great strength of this club is our supporter base and you can't lose touch with those roots."

"Pricing fans out of the stadium just doesn't make business sense or emotional sense".

What date was this latest Kop Paper published MsG?

"There is no need for fans to be concerned about ticket prices being hiked up," he said.

And there was no need to worry about the club being in debt last year.

"Our owners are smart enough to know that if you get the pricing policy wrong, you won't fill the stadium.

Unbelievable. Another lie. In other words, the price of tickets will go up, but the pricing policy wont be wrong in their eyes.

"They know that the great strength of this club is our supporter base and you can't lose touch with those roots."

The great strength the owners see is the money they will try to make from the supporter base all over the world, if they are allowed to. Rick Parry and the owners have already lost touch with the 'roots'!

Honestly. When I don't hear anything from Parry, he makes me angry. When he opens his mouth he makes me even more angry.
