PIET HAMBERG TO LEAVE LIVERPOOL FC

Liverpool FC today confirmed that Academy technical director Piet Hamberg is to leave the club at the end of the season. 
Mr Hamberg has worked at the Academy in Kirkby since joining Liverpool from Grasshoppers Zurich in 2007.
 
Everyone at Liverpool would like to thank Piet for his dedication over the past two years and wish him all the best for the future.

Would like to say yes, but I did read last week in the echo that Rafa was ready to appoint Frank McParland for that position. Isn't Gary Abblet also leaving at the end of the season.

I didn't know that! Would be very disappointed if it were true.

Apparently after his first few weeks in the job he went for a review with Coco.

His recommendations consisted of Liverpool building a mini secondary school and a load of onsite properties for the young players to live in with their families with the cost being about £10m.

I am sure we will get an announcement from the club stating that Kenny has been appointed to the job.As is usual when a person leaves the club we wish them well.

Guilty as charged, what position is Kenny Dalglish being lined up for.
