      Brede Hangeland (Fulham)

Manchester City and Liverpool are vying for Fulham centre-back Brede Hangeland, but will have to pay £7m for the 27-year-old Norwegian. (The People)

I dont see him being better than Agger or Mr. Martin

I think we were linked with him a few years back and if we do lose Agger then this is one player I feel is worth a look.

even though he looks a good player, i really think a couple of quality full backs may be more needed.

Hangeland is a really decent centre back. We don't need him at the moment, but if Agger leaves, it may be worth it.

I think we have more pressing needs than another CB. Even if we lose Agger (more like when) I would rather promote Hobbs, Huth or San Jose if indeed big Sami is going to get another year on his contract (which I think he will). If Sami does move maybe look at him as a target but I get the feeling by the way Sami has played this season he will be around for another year.

I'd rather he stayed or went elsewhere to be honest. If Agger is to leave then hopefully we will still have Hyypia and hopefully it could mean Hobbs making that step up.

Yeah I also dont want to see another CB coming in even if Agger leaves. We have got Hyypia & then any of Hobbs,Kelly or San Jose cam make the step up.This summer rathre than distributing money on four or five signings we should look to make only two class signings that can add flair & potency to our attack.

I think it's all about IF Agger leaves and IF Hyypia leaves.

We don't want to go leaving ourselves short now do we.  Centre-back is arguably the only area of the pitch we have any strength in depth in at the moment.

We need attacking players not defensive cautious type players. C'mon Rafa please tell you've learned were we've gone wrong and let's go for it.

I think Hangeland will be a decent replacement for Agger IF he leaves but if Agger n Hypia stays...i think the money should be better of spent on offensive players =)
