Loved Danny! A man for the big occasion. Correct me if I am wrong but didn't he also score the first penalty against United at Old Trafford in a number of years? Anyway, always had his head screwed on and created a good impression for young people. Always felt he was mistreated by Rafa. Think he still had a lot to offer.
Good luck Danny lad in whatever you choose to go on to.

Good professional, with a great attitude. My memories of him were that he was either brilliant or awful, with not much inbetween.

Always loved him scoring against the Mancs.
I was more gutted when he left than when Owen did.
All the best.

Speaking of Owen, Murphy was signed on the recommendation of Michael Owen as was Heskey, all the best Spud in your retirement.
