      Whipping Chelsea's arse?
      Apr 09, 2009 12:17:40 am
I have got a funny feeling that this tie at Stamford Bridge is going to be on of Liverpools finest moments, and we have a few of them.
Against Arsenal last year it was a mamoth tie and we came up with the goods when it mattered.
Against Chelsea we have done it twice before, the first time lets face it they were much the better team, now we are very much improved.
They have a new manager and it always gives you confidence.
But Chelsea will be feeling comfortable, congratulatory and stupidly over-confident next week, they WILL underestimate our might.
We never played well at all today, and that is understandable, because we were on a terrific run and you always come down with a big bang.

In reality, Jamie and Stevie G will have our team whipped up into a winning frenzy next week, it feels like its in the stars, this could just be our finest hour, could it eclipse Istanbul, maybe, Why, because they really think they have done it now, and we now know how they will come at us.
Make no mistake Rafa has had his ass kicked and he wont be happy, but he will know what to do to beat the new chelsea, because thats what they are, a rejuvinated team.

Have faith fellow reds, this could just be our moment of the season. Of course a vast improvement is required, and only Benitez can muster a tactical change that can bring us another European cup.

The hour is nigh, off the troops to war, because our fellers took a real battering, and its time for revenge in the capital.

I think we're going to whip everyone's arse before we play them.

If we can slot four past Real Madrid and away at United then nothing's really beyond us.

Reading Guus Hiddink's post match comments, even he thinks its possibly on the cards.

That sounds a little Rafa like, which is worrying. We want them to feel comfortable...as much as possible, well it matter not. As they cant stop an all out attack from Liverpool, Man U got 4 what say Chelsea...

If Chelsea can beat us 3-1 then it's more than within our means to do the same to them.

It's half time in the tie and we need three goals. Sound familiar?

Just a little.  Didn't we score all three in 6 minutes?

I have not given up faith been getting bombarded all day by Mancs and Chavs been telling them calmly not to count their chickens yet.

We have nothing to lose some of the players let the wonderful club and its fans down. They will be there to prove a point the second time around.

It might sound absurd but Id rather we are in this position where we will throw the full kitchen sink at them from the first whistle then defend a 1-0 or 2-1 lead.

walk on walk on with hope in your heart.........

Why are you being bombarded by Mancs?

Because they're horrible, graceless, gobs***e, F***ing cu*ts, and thats just for starters!

Forget whipping Chelsea's arse, I'd like to see the F***ing cu*ts wiped out by a nuclear bomb, plastic, gloryhunting, were probably supporting Arsenal back in the 90s F***ing shitbags.

      I'm not taking this well!

Im not thinking about losing just yet. Losing is not in my mind, I felt unusually calm after being whipped 3-1 here. I definitely have faith, I definitely have the belief coursing though me. I believe we can do it, we can pull it off. Many a time it has happened, we did them. The tie is not finished until its over. I admit we have made it very difficult for ourselves, But we're Liverpool. So what is there to fear against a team with no history? I admit we deserved to lose tonight. But if they can score 3 goals at Anfield, why is EVERYONE writing us off now? We can do the same. Its in our heads. Its in our hands. Complacency will definitely creep it. I felt it from Cech, well, but right now, its only half time. We're not out and down.

If we can do it in Istanbul with the toughest defence in the world with Nesta and Maldini at their peak of their powers, then why cant we do it against the meekiest defence with only Ivanovic and Alex? If we can whip manure's 7 point lead to just 1, if we can whip them 4-1 at old trafford, if we can whip Villa 5-0 at home, if we can whip Real 4-0 at home. I dont see why we cant do it again.

Make no mistake, its a tall order. But this is what champions have to do through, we've got to have our resolve tested against if we are to make it. Everyone wrote us off in 2005. Everyone said game over when we were 1-0 down against Olympakios at Anfield. Andy Gray said 'Game well and truly over' in Istanbul. BBC, Soccernet now go on about how Chelsea have virtually secured their place.

But make no mistake, we've got the mettle. We've got the courage. We have no pressure, because everyone will expect us to lose. We have no fear. The pressure, now, its on Chelsea at the Bridge. And right now, its gonna be a tall order. But I believe, we all believe. And let the kop sing, let the goals flow, lead the Reds to Rome.

      On to you, Liverpool.

Scoring 3 past chelsea in reality wont be that hard, SB isnt a fortress by any means.

The chavs will stick 11 men behind the ball right from the start, they have the result, their in the driving seat.

We need good wide delivery as its the only way i can see us breaking them down.

JT isnt playing which will be a bonus for us, we can do this lads...  They scored 3 - we can do that also

      I believe in the lads!!

I think we can do it, if we can score 3 goals in 6 minutes in one half of football, we can definitely score 3 against Chelsea in 90 minutes, plus they have Terry out.

We as the fans have a duty now to stir this team on and believe that we can do it!!
