Greatest goalkeeper of all time

Who is the greatest keeper ever? Clem aside or any other Liverpool keeper who is the best you have seen? Theres been some good ones, Never seen Banks or Yashin but neither would be my answer anyway.

Greatest I ever saw was Pat Jennings. What agility and ability. If he had been English he'd probably be regarded as the best ever

Gordon Banks for me , made some miracle saves and faced arguably the hardest shots in football and the old leather ball  that was like stopping a missile ,especially when wet ,reactions and strength to match Clemence in my top 5 of all time too

That double save from Dudek in Istanbul from Shevchenko must rate with any of the best saves ever made. I'm not saying Dudek, but that save deserves recognition.

Too young to remember Banks. Have to say probably that red nose manc from Denmark wasnt bad 

The way Pepe's game is improving every season he could claim that one day maybe but I've always rated Shay Given. When you think he played behind a non-existant defense for so many years at Newcastle too. I'm sure he won them numerous points over the years.

Buffon is a good shout although I'd like to see him play week in week out in the prem before I confirmed my call :-)

Gordon Banks.

Only by the footage i have seen and he was also admired by the Liverpool supporters.

I met him a few years ago at Anfield when he received an award and was really happy to talk and mix with everyone.

Crouchy- he used to play for preston and my hometown of barrow was meant to be amazing

The best Goalkeeper I saw was Gordon Banks and our own Ray Clemence of course is up there.  I was at Anfield on the day Gordon Banks  played his last game he lost his eye in an accident driving to Stoke.
