Ubisoft Vancouver are deep in development of a new sporting title; Pure Football. Pure Football is said to include 230 footballers, 17 international teams, and 17 legendary stars for the player to control, and they will also be able to customize their athlete during the campaign mode. Taking over from the much used horizontal view point, Ubisoft has taken an over-the-shoulder camera to get players into the thick of the match with five-a-side action. Nintendo Wifi connect is also supported with 1vs1 matches and up to four people can play locally.
Liverpool captain to front upcoming Pure Football this MayUbisoft has announced that star footballer Steven Gerrard will be the face of its forthcoming title Pure Football.The Liverpool captain and new England vice captain will be one of 230 playable footballers from 17 international teams, as well as appearing as the star of the game’s cover art.Gerrard said: “I’m proud to be the ambassador of Pure Football. Not only does this game reflect the way I like football – more physical, more technical – but it’s also a lot of fun to play with friends.”Pure Football was announced earlier this month and marks Ubisoft’s first entry into the core football market. It will be released for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in May.
