And Xavi has already come out and said that they will be back in Jan...well according to the Star so take it with a pinch of salt!

But Barca really are even winding me up and I don't even give a crap about the whole thing!!

Tell the truth RedWilly, the actual quote from Xavi was something like they will come back for him in January when Arsenal are out of the league  :o

F***ing cu*ts, Barca. I like watching them but i hate them when they pursuit a player. Arrogant cockenschnouds.

Stay, Cesc! Your better than they are.

Exactly mate , these Catalan cu*ts can relentlessly pursue whomever they want . The President and players are tellin Cesc (a contracted player) to leave Arsenal . How can they getaway with this , it really shits me

Rules were made to fight against this sh*te and yet they still get away with it.

Xavi is the chief architect in it, too. Sick of his face.

I'm glad he's staying (at least for a bit). The whole Barca thing leaves a bitter aftertaste about the whole club. The players at that club are trying to tap him up, which you would never see at any other club.

Hugely unprofessional. The bunch of cu*ts. No better than Florentino Perez and Real Madrid.

A real well reputation being tarnished because of the way they pursue a player.

I think it's disrespectful and unprofessional.

As opposed to Arsenal and the way they 'attract' young talent from around the world. Please remember how they signed Cesc Fabregas in the first place. Anyway didn't he tell Wenger that he wanted to leave and tell the people in his home town that he was looking forward to seeing a lot more of them soon.

Cesc is now in for the delights of getting to become the subject of every journeyman pundit in the land.

If he doesn't play well he is going to 'have his head in the wrong place' and dreaming about Barca. If he plays well they will say its inevitable that Barca will come back in.

Its a vicious cycle. Same thing has been happening with Paul Merson, Le Tissier et al about Gerrard for years.

I love how Barca play, and their whole sponsor and fan ownership thing - but this sh*t is so F***ing annoying. They are clearly tapping up a contracted player, and using their stars as the front-men for it. F***ing should be tapped on the head, but FIFA being the idiot fuckers they are just let it slide.

If it was us, or some other clubs, we would have been reprimanded long ago.

Nice one for you though gooner, after how we felt with Torres and Gerrard committing, we know how you feel :)

I'm pleased Cesc is staying to be honest, he's one of the top talents in the premiership and we have been losing a lot of the top talent i.e Lady Boy, Alonso over recent seasons, so Cesc staying can only be good for the league as a whole IMO.

Loving the fact that Spanish clubs can tap up who they want and nothing is done about it, as we have seen with Barca and Real, yet it's only ever Premier League teams that get warned about it... hmm nah they couldn't be the favored clubs of a corrupt organizing body

Happy that Cesc will stay. Without him, Arsenal wouldn't feel the same.

And it looks like that Barca now will sign Ozil. They don't even need him or Cesc. What happened to the "We make world class players"? I hate the club that Barca is turning into.

He may be staying for now but it is only a matter of time before he returns to Barca and it wouldn't surprise me if he done an Henry. Summer of speculation, say he is going to stay and then end up going the following year.

It's bit of a shame in a way though because although he loves Arsenal the chances are he isn't staying there due to his love for the club but for the fact that they have priced him out of a move to the club he happens to love more.

But then again Barca only have themselves to blame, they never gave him the chance to prove himself at the club in the first place. Could be viewed as karma for the way they have pursued him this summer.

I fully expect Cesc to go back someday , but the way Barca pursued him was disgraceful . They don't even need him at the moment . How is it that the 2 Spanish giants can do this every transfer season . I love Barca as a football team , they ooze class on the pitch but their behaviour in the market demonstrates a complete lack of regard for their targets current contracted clubs and reeks of arrogance .

I enjoy watching Cesc play. Really talented footballer. Won't be good to see him leave the Premier League, IMO.

Arsene was smart to make him captain. It makes it difficult for him to leave. Cesc Fabregas loves Arsenal, the fans and i'm sure he has the utmost respect for his manager but he happens to be from Barcelona.

I love watching Barcelona play. They play with class but the whole Cesc Fabregas transfer saga is really tarnishing their image. They have been disrecpectful, disgraceful and unprofessional.
