Martin Kelly admits the fantastic victory in Trabzonspor has boosted confidence amongst the Liverpool players ahead of Sunday's meeting with West Bromwich Albion at Anfield.
The Reds bounced back to winning ways in Thursday's Europa League clash and the line-up again promises to be strengthened on Sunday with the likes of Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres expected to return to the side.
And England U21 international Kelly is confident Roy Hodgson's side can get their first Barclays Premier League victory of the 2010-11 season against the newly-promoted Baggies.
"The main thing we want to do now is get three points on Sunday against West Bromwich Albion," he told Liverpoolfc.tv.
"I think we have definitely got the quality there. We have had a good pre-season, the players are looking forward to the game and want to show everyone that we can bounce back from that defeat."
Roberto Di Matteo's side won their first Barclays Premier League game of the season last weekend with a 1-0 triumph over Sunderland as they bounced back from their opening day 6-0 thumping at reigning champions Chelsea.
There have been suggestions that the Baggies will turn up at Anfield with a defensive approach, but Kelly doesn't see it that way.
Well in Kelly Lad
