I was pretty sure he prefers wearing 23 but if isn't available he takes 25.  Found a website that has Villareal's old squads - the number 23 was taken each time.  We'll know in about 3 or 4 seasons anyhow

Whoever wears number 7 needs to be seen to earn it rather than just waltz straight into it based on reputation in other leagues, so from our current side I'd give it to Kuyt just on workrate and selflessness alone.
