To lighten the mood after recent doom and gloom, was wondering (very tongue in cheek) how important hair length was in relation to success for Liverpool players.
There are plenty of examples on underachieving long-haired players, Carroll being the most recent.
But with Poulsen being another dreadful failure, and players like Lucas turning from Kop boo-boy to player of the season after getting a cut, is there any truth in it?
Even Glen Johnson's defending skills seem better once he got rid of the dreaded dreadlocks, surely it can't be a coincidence?
Are there any players that have succeeded in the face of this hard evidence?
Pro-hair, Craig Johnston is one that springs to mind. Cases could be made for Berger and Baros, who if he wasn't there to get out of the way, we might not even have five European Cups!
