Looking forward to the game I think Rafa might play Gerrard on the right maybe less risk of his injury getting worse rather than in the middle where all the tackles will be flying in,heres my guess anyway

Aaaargh I have work tomorrow 12-4 and it takes me about 20 mins to get home/the pub I'm working on it. I said I needed to be at a surprise party by 4 so if I could leave at about 3.40 or 3.45 that would be great.
Thing is on Sundays lately it's been dead, and I said if it's dead could I go a bit earlier tomorrow and Amanda was like "yeah maybe if it's dead". I offered to go in early but they don't need me, and I'll offer myself for a day in the week too. Then I'll tell them I'm going back to uni in a few weeks hehe.

Back to the game! I hope we can win again!! Remember Riise and Pennant's goals.. still fresh in my mind them two I hope to god we do it. Especially as Cardiff won their first league game of the season today away at QPR wohooo! Is Drogba injured? Terry is back isn't he??

As for the big one....glad that this game is coming up this early in the season. Definately a chance to put a marker in the ground. The most important thing is to not lose. After all the talk out of anfield of making a good start to the season and considering ourselves challengers its imperative that we get something out of the game....at the least retaining our confidence.

Hope to god Joe Cole doesn't play....the little elfin boy always has too much good fortune against us. I'd settle for a draw but I feel a game of this size will demand the big players to step up and show their quality so I'm predicting a 2-1 victory with Torres and Risse getting us the points.

Agreed... Wouldn't be playing Riise as a fullback and definitely need Mascherano to soak up the midfield so Gerrard can have more of a free-role getting forward.  Would pick Voronin too as I think from what I've seen so far he has the vision to thread the through balls for Torres and SG's forward surges.

Would say Pub - but obviously depending on your age!

Can anyone see past Gerrard and Masch in the centre today - even with Gerrards injury, he's our dynamo and is worth the risk!

Would be gutted if Voronin doesn't start alongside Torres.  Two unknown forwards for the chavs back-four - could just be what is needed, something original, out of the blue and all that!
