The fact that we can argue Adam or Aqualani....Was Carroll worth the 35M....did we overpay for Henderson and Downing are problems we should be grateful for....I am a few months away now from my 1yr LFC anniversary and it has been one hellavu year.

Mate enjoy the simplicity, there are heroes on here and other websites, who spent 24/7 years battling the gobs***e owners,on-line,on the streets of Liverpool, and through various media outlets, with no financial resources, but overcame,a corrupt ownership regime,to restore this club to it's rightfull position in football.Like so many generations before,as a club and football family,we proved once again, that we stick together when it gets tough."Scal Quaeda" take a bow.YNWA.

      Good read that.

Unbelievable what our club has been through. So grateful to our new owners for what they have done and mainly for listening to the fans and letting Kenny come home.

Makes me think of a thread/post by redkenny.  We were deep in the depressing depths of the wankers ownership, things were looking bleak.  He was driving his van in shitty weather and a rainbow appeared (I think), and he reminded us of the words of our anthem, YNWA.

It was hard to see then, but we really have turned a viciously sharp corner, and it's f**king wonderful to be arguing over this players merits rather than H&G.  To not have those cancers anywhere near our club, well, I can't express how good it feels.

There's no club as special as us! We definitely have what it takes to be the greatest club in the world. We've been tested through and through. We've seen the glory, we've shared the sadness, we've hit the bottomless pit and yet we bounced back. There's no such club in the world could do or experienced the kind of situation like us. Once we're fast becoming another Leeds United but now we're up and roaring once again.

Through the years, we've been overlooked not because of our inability to challenge but because of our inability to bring in the very best. We're made to believe that everything was going to be great after those two supposed clown took over and promised heaven to us. They promised and continue making promises that eventually never been fulfilled. We're made to know that their acquire us without making any due diligence and we were sold to them by someone I should not mention here for a few millions more. Even our manager was convinced that when the storms ended, there will be a golden sky.The only thing worth it that we could get was that greedy ba**ard from Spain who left us when we're in dire need. We got bunch of unknown talents in which our great Rafa turned most of them into superstars. Alonso, Masch, Arbeloa to name some but there's some not quite up to it. But every club and every manager had these kind of bad moments. After years in hell suddenly we knew that we're not going to the right direction. Our transfer policy was so awful even Fulham did well in the market. We're forced to scour into the bargain bin instead of top of the line players. We're made to accept that being a club destined for mediocrity with a bunch of bargain players.

Then the reality strucked. We finally realized that our previous owners didn't brought in their own money to begin with. That's the reason why the lame transfer seasons we faced for years. We're a big club with a kitty no bigger than WBA thanks to those two fat lying bi**hes who at the first place bought us with loan money. Instead of spending on players with quality like Aguero or Silva, we're forced to pay RBS nearly 40million (I forgot the exact figure) per year. It totally blew off even the slightest chance we have to even challenge Spurs that moment. No new players, no new stadium, no more profit and the eeriest prospect was no more CL, EPL or possibly no more LIverpool FC.

We had enough and something got to change. It's time for them to go and the faster the better. Thank God Broughton(right spelling?) was so prudent and slick enough we're freed from them with minimum losses. Though it's hard and long fight but it was worth it. For a mere 350 million (I really need to check the exact amount), we're sold to another American group called FSG led by John W Henry. Thank God, they were not H&G. No unachievable promises and the best thing was it was their own money!

Last season was a horrid and a nightmare and nobody could deny that. But that kind of thing that could make us stronger again. Like I said earlier, we've been tested hard and we came back hard. People become more aware of us, the fans become even stronger and opponents will s**t in their pants because once this sleeping giant wake up, there's no telling what kind of destruction Liverpool Giant will do. Rest assured that we're in safe hand now. We got the owner who don't really know anything about footballing but yet sincerely enough to admit and willing to learn. An owner who really listen to the fans and take into consideration what the fans might say and think. An owner who doesn't promised heaven but continually making us strongest again. We got the coaching department led by a legend who knows everything to know about Liverpool FC. His motivation, passion, determination and hunger for success will somehow be transformed in to making Liverpool great once more. And global network of supporters all over the world who never tires to stick to their team thick and thin.

This is the turning season for us. Even if we don't win the league(which I hope we can win it), there will be strong evidence of our resurgence and comeback. Opponent will take note of our transformation and sure as hell they will be hoping they got what it takes to bring us down. This is the season that will open everyone's eye and show them what we're capable to do and what we're willing to sacrifice to be the king of PL once again.
