Could someone tell me how to 'mount an image' please? Probably seems a dumb question to ask, but if you could let me know what I need to do it would be much appreciated. Is there any software involved, or do you just click a button? Thanks! If this is in the wrong section, you can move it.

Why would you want to do that? Are you trying to install an illegal copy of something?

      ;D

You have to use software like Daemons Tools lite.

Daemon tools. But make sure you have the right file or the thing you may or may not be doing may or may not work... Not that I ever do such things or have any knowledge about it.

I use PowerISO. Really easy to use.

At the top just click Mount > Mount Image to Drive whatever.

Go to Start on windows > Computer and you should see the drive you mounted the ISO/image to there.

For some reason whenever I try to load the game, it just closes. Do I need steam even if it's a torrent...?

      What game?
Usually with a downloaded game it requires you to crack it, if you haven't already, have you checked if their is a crack on the file, Im assuming your using a .iso right?
There is usually a folder on there with all the cracks etc... once you installed the game, you then copy all the files in that folder and paste them into the games folder (where you installed it) and it will replace the ones that were made during the install with the cracked ones.

Also most usually also come with a text document named for example "Read Me" or "Instructions" which tell you step by step what to do.. also if you got it from a torrent site like Piratebay, there is usually instructions there.

Hi, i had to reboot my laptop today but it rebooted on SAFE MODE, couldn't get on the internet , kept telling me to reboot to exit safe mode, but after 5 hours i gave up as it just kept going to this mode.
Any ideas how to escape from it?

      Windows 7?

When you boot into safe mode, go to Start (Windows logo bottom left) and in the search box type in msconfig, a box should come up with a few options, click on the Boot tab and make sure the Safe boot box isn't ticked. In fact, on my PC, none of the boxes down there are ticked so best unticking any that are.

Hope this helps. Its the only thing I can think of at the moment that it might be.

No problem, one more thing though, when you are in the msconfig box, also make sure the 'Normal Startup' box is ticked under the general tab as well :)
